I am professional Complainer. I complain on everyday basis.

Why? Why do you care? It is not your damn business. I have right to complain, I want to complain, I have nothing better to do than complain and I will complain as much as I can.

Why? I will answer you on this, because I stated that question, not you. I complain because I can. And you know what? You can't do anything about it. Nothing. Zero. YOU. ARE. POWERLESS.

I complain whenever I can, about whatever I can and for whatever I can. I do not give a damn care about reasoning or reasons that led to my complain, I complain because it is my professional duty and because I am entitled to it. I complain, complain and complain and there is nothing you can do about it.

I love to complain. My greatest complain is that is not enough things to complain. I mean, look at things from my perspective. I complain about anything and anywhere, do you even have an idea what a mammoth task that is? Do you even understand how much effort I have to put into it? OF COURSE YOU CAN'T. Because you're reasonable. Logical. You convinced yourself how there is a positive reason why you shouldn't complain and take things as they are.

Well, let me tell you something boy - THAT IS YOUR DAMN PROBLEM!

Instead of being rational and logical, you could stop doing such stupid rationalizations and start to complain. Instead of trying to find a positive in every negative, you could start to complain about the negative at the first place. Who on this GOd damn Earth even cares about positives with so many negatives around? HOW CAN YOU BE SO BLIND?

Oh, yeah, don't even start to think about starting that "constructive criticism" crap. Constructive criticism my butt! I despise those "constructive critiques" even more than I despise you. At least you have a decency to admit how you hate my complaints, but those "constructive" guys are just bunch of scary crybabies that fear for they status. They fear to say "Yeah, we are man! We admit - we are complainers!" They opted for that "constructive criticism" crap in hope they will be praised as people who are "objective".

OBJECTIVE MY BUTT!! There is no damn OBJECTIVE! You know what objective is? You want to know? I will tell you! OBJECTIVE IS THERE IS NO PERFECTION! And as long as there is no perfection, I will complain.

I swear to you, on this place, on the Holly Book of Justice Complaints, that i will complain forever and ever and there is no logical, nor objective, nor subjective reason I will ever, EVER stop complaining! Oh God, give me strength to fight all those so-called non-complainers, give me strength for writing down million of words of TRUTH they are so blind to see!

You can't beat me, you damn rationalists! You can explain anything to yourself, you can rationalize whatever you want, but for me - you're just a weak and blind insects feared to say what they really think! Admit, you are, right? Admit, come on. Ask yourself, ask yourself deep inside. Are you satisfied? Are you happy? Do you accept everything tossed at you with gratitude, just because you are entitled to be reasonable? Logical? Because you convinced yourself how there is a positive reason why you shouldn't complain and take things as they are? Come on. Admit it.

ADMIT IT, DAMN! YOU ARE WEAK. YOU ARE SMALL. YOU ARE PATHETIC. And you know that. But that is YOU. I am not like you. I am better. I AM COMPLAINER.

I don't see how anyone can complain about DLC. The fact that you're still here a year after the game's release still complaining about issues (which shows passion about a game you like) means that you've put hundreds of hours into GT5. If that's the case, you've gotten your money's worth many times over so what's the big deal with paying a small price for even more content? It's not like they released DLC day one just to grab your money.

This DLC is perfectly reasonable too.

It's nearly a year after the game was released, it wasn't "stuff that should have been there at launch."

And for the stuff that should have been there at launch, they've added some of that with a large number of free updates.

So would you rather take you $15 or whatever it is and spend it on some other game? Personally, I think GT5 is worth investing more money into, as long as they add stuff that makes the game more fun and last longer. More cars, more tracks, that's good stuff. They also add new seasonal races every couple of weeks, those are new events too.

If they only added stuff like paints and racing suits, that's fine if you want to buy it, but it's only cosmetic. For instance, buying hats, costumes, character skins, avatars, and the like in other games. It changes nothing about how the game plays. There's nothing wrong with wanting it, buying it, or selling it; but it definitely won't prolong a game's entertainment value.

I'm with you on some things, PD did make a bunch of dumb decisions and the game is full of flaws both large and small. But for what it cost, GT5 is more than worth it. C'mon, name a single other game that delivers as much variety in driving as GT5. Sure, most of it isn't fully featured (SuperGT, NASCAR, etc...) but if you go and get a NASCAR game you only get NASCAR and nothing else.

GT5 is like a giant sampler dish, you get a little bit of everything. Some you like, some you don't, but it's definitely a huge meal. DLC is like a side of fries or something. Like fries? Get them. Don't like fries? Don't get them.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm making myself hungry.

Sorry for slandering. But 12€ is about 15% of the game's cost. 15% of 1000 cars = 150 cars, you get a dozen. 15% of 4000 paints = 600 paints, you get what 50? You get the point.


Yeah, I love GT5! I love it!!!!! Been playing it a lot. No other racing game is nearly as good (I did not try Forza, just so you guys know. Also, I don't feel like even trying it). Also, I don't buy that many games as they are too expensive for the fun they give back. Comparing GT5 to other games, yeah, it should cost 1000€. But that does not justify all the bad things it has. I simply stopped buying other games. I am still planing on buying GT6... but I think what PD is doing wrong should be pointed out, so they can improve. But if you guys love to pay for DLCs, things will only get worse and worse, like day one DLCs, and I predict that DLCs will become more than half of the game's contents in the future.

Yes, but bottom line you're not forced, and plus it's not exactly Day 1 DLC yet. Not only that, if the DLC we have now isn't exactly favorable to you then there shouldn't be any problem skipping on it. They're not forcing you to buy it.

Also, you can never compare DLC's value to the value of the whole game or product. Business will never work that way. Look at all the DLC for extra songs for the music games, costumes for LBP, and all other extra stuff. If you compare them to the whole product, obviously, the DLCs are a worst value.

For now, I think we can trust PD that they'll get us as much content as possible, in the given time that they'll have to make the game. I do feel you and hope that they don't go Turn 10's way, and especially EA with all the Day one DLC, and 1 week as well. I mean if they're gonna have the content ready in one week's time, especially 1 day, they might as well put it in the game, and not put it aside for extra cash.

Maybe you need to read up on the X2010 its not fictional its a Prototype made with the help of sebastian Vettel if there were no formula 1 limits and it was 20 seconds quicker around a track than a normal F1 car.

How'd you come to this conclusion? After PD releases DLC after almost a year from Launch? Anyway...

I decide to buy DLC
so as many, many, many others
more money to PD for Research & development
more capital = more people to hire to work on the game
more people to work on the game = the better, bigger, and faster the game will be made (Be it DLC or future iterations).


I don't mind paying 12 bucks for the DLC. Nothing comes free nowadays. Doesn't bother me one bit.
Plus, It's the best racing game on console. Why not support it? :cheers:

Grand scheme of things: it's a drop in the ocean.

OK some GTers are young and don't have the money; tough! Life's hard when you're young. Deal with it. I wanted an Amiga for years and eventually got a C64 and I appreciated what I got (ahem, 'cos it was ace).

Anyway, appreciate what you have instead of complaining about what you don't have. That way you'll have a much happier life (and a much happier GT life).

There we go, nonsensical rant over.
