Winamp3 sucks. It uses way too many resources, it kept stuffing up the ID tags for my .ogg files and it doesn't have a 'Generate HTML Playlist' option. 👎 The only good thing Winamp3 had was the Enqueue option. As for WA3 skins, I don't see the big fuss about them. I mean, Winamp is usually running in the background on my PC and the only time I see it is when I go to change songs - which takes like 5 seconds.
Winamp 2.91 on the other hand uses little resources, doesn't screw around with my .ogg ID tags and has a 'Generate HTML Playlist' option.
I'm trying Winamp 5 RC8 at the moment. The Modern Skin looks like crap. Way too wide. I'm running Winamp 5 with the Classic skin (Winamp 2x revisited) and it only uses 2mb of resources! It also has good support for my precious .ogg files and also has the 'Generate HTML Playlist' option. 👍
