Winning Elven :PES 2007 & PES 6 Question

there is the newly released Pro evolution soccer 2007 for the NTSC Xbox , and there is the Europian version which is the PSE 6 , do you think they are the same version but named diffrently? as I have a couple of friends in the UK with PES 6 and I'm wondering if I would be able to play against them . I've order PES 2007 of amazon should be here in a couple of days .

what makes me think they are the same is that they have the same cover player , as usually with every version they bring in a new player/coach for teh cover .

I've got a feeling it's not compatible with PES 6 because the two versions have different teams. I'm not 100% though.

Even if it's the same version you won't be able to play online with them I think. WE10 is the same as PES6, but they aren't compatible online.
