And Mel, could you please, please, please show up to the room earlier? The person who's hosting the series should be the first one to join the room. It also helps with connection issues.

Mel is a pretty good host. It works well in Rolex.

It's better than the guy from Italy

So, that gives time for qualifying.

I was hoping to make it to ToCA, but I slept in. Sorry. I was at a night club last night.

Furi, 'cuz you're a premium, check the Rel... Thread, if you want more details, and bad Shem jokes.

And again, since you missed it the first time...

I'm on my way to the lounge, regardless.

Trial Mountain next.

Carb, fully aware that you were leading with two corners to go, and then were fifth. Expect investigation.

I'm still wondering why the pole is worth 20 points with the rest not getting any points. That would change the standings from round 1 where I won the pole. This series is getting more and more confusing  I do want to know why the pole is rewarded so much though.

Just make pole worth 2 points and be done with it. That's equivalent to one position on track, vs the 10 positions it's worth now.

This. That basically gives the championship to the person who wins the most poles. That promotes corner cutting in qualifying as well.

Which was tempting today. Who knows, maybe corner cutting was a issue today?

Race 1 penalties:

Lancer - paved runoff x6 - 15 second penalty

Congratulations to Furinkazen on his first official ITCC win!

Race 2 penalties:

polar - paved runoff x6 - 15 second penalty

Lancer - paved runoff x6 - 15 second penalty

furinkazen - warning - bumping batista, lap 7, NGK Schikane.

Congratulations to furinkazen for winning both races, officially, at the Nürburgring GP/D!

Final report:

Very much improved racing conduct across the board. Nürburgring GP/D was always going to be a question of runoff usage. Good job to furinkazen, carbonox, batista, MrM, and tbw, for not incurring penalties due to intentional, unaided* runoff usage. Furinkazen, please remember to brake sooner when following closely behind another driver. I'm sure you didn't mean to brake late, but, given the increased speed (4 km/h) into the braking zone of the NGK Schikane, you should've slowed down a wee bit sooner.

LancerEvo7 and polarbear345 are both receiving 15 second penalties for unaided* runoff usage. LancerEvo7 receives that penalty twice, extremely affecting his results (16 points lost.)

* - Runoff usage was acceptable, immediately following contact with another vehicle, or to avoid another vehicle. This was called "aided" or "forced" runoff usage. That was forgiven. "Unaided" or "unforced" runoff usage, where all four wheels left the racing circuit and crossed over the painted white lines at the side of the circuit, was penalized, after 5 occurrences.
