Here was me being pleased with my 3 as well - not least because I actually used my old start word by mistake AUDIO - so I would have been raging if today's word had been my new start word ROAST.

In my defence, I still use AUDIO as my starter word in Quordle.

Yeah, I'm cross at having 4 letters on the second guess, close but not close enough, and several people have just bossed it today.

Yeah, I'm cross at having 4 letters on the second guess, close but not close enough, and several people have just bossed it today.

Mostly just fortune on my part. When my original first word - HOUSE - went in December, I just swapped my first and second words round, and today was the result. That today's answer hadn't been used before I started playing so that the two words fell in order for me was just luck.
