NikoCloud here from team D-Spec. Ive put together this thread to manage the event to wich i have been inviting a lot of you and will keep it updated with the latest informtion you guys need so we can make this into a great event. Now about what the World Wide Drift Team Invitational is? Well its my teams effort to get ourselves out there and be know by a lot of you and giving you all the opportunity to do the same. Not really a competition, it is more like a exhibition so all the teams can join, meet the other teams, and more than that, meet the guys that form a part of it. I think this is a great opportunity to not only make friends, but it also is a good place to practice for the competitions to come the following week. Now in order to make this happen, i need the support from all other teams and their leaders. Ive been talking to a few of you for the past few days and i know a lot of you are up for this, but an event of this magnitude is to much of a task for just me or even my team. So this thread is here to organize the teams and get comments and support from all the ppl i can. This is not MY event. I want this to be OUR event.

There will be more than one lobby to accomodate all this and so far tyhe tentative date is sunday at around 10-11ish pm est.
Wi your imput and the rate at wich we get organized this might get an adjustment. Please share your thougts. If you wish to be part of is event then simply either get your team leader to send me a pm with the teams name and the name of its leaders and members. Cars dont really matter. You can also post it on this thread. I hope to get to meet all of you and see you on the track.

Ive had both ICY Boys and Team Black and Yellow comfirm their presence at the event. Great to see guys give me the go ahead. To bad Black and Yellows leader might not make it due to exams. Hopefully he'll take some time out and at least join a few minutes. Project D also confirmed 2 days ago but have not heard since, i wont add them just yet. I hope the tell me if theyre comming.

I think its just some type of a get-together. I'm still thinking about it, I sort of see this as a pandora's box of drama waiting to be opened.

I hope not. If everyone comes correct, its just gonna be a couple of rooms with a handfull of members from each team doing time trials, tandems and battles depending on the room you enter. Different rules and regulations will apply to each room and we will have moderators so everything stays friendly. I can hopefully get this streamd so a lot of ppl would be watching too.good pracrice for next week, goodnplace to meet the competition and get to know the other teams and what theyre like. All healthy. IF iveryone comes correct of course.

There shouldn't be any drama, as most of us have already had good relations with other teams and have been drifting together on a daily basis. I think this is an excellent idea. We could do like team drift contests or 10 car tandems haha.

I might be down for this, but this is really short notice. I'll let u know forsure tomorrow and I'll try to get some of my teammate to join in aswell

Well i dont know if it will work with the time zones, for most of my team its GMT or GMT+1. But ill try to join when I can, but not guaranteed. Dont put us in the list yet, but ill try to come. Its a great idea imo. Im fed up with getting in a random lobby with dozens of noobs.
