Would you buy this for $7500?

Same here. Michigan is as dull as can be.. I thought that thing was amazing, thats why i should I'd pay for it.

yeah, I've never seen an Initial D arcade game in person, but I don't really go to arcades a lot. I'd love to try it though...I've heard it's really cool.

I havent been to an arcade in a while either. One of the more popular games up here is wangon midnight racing wise. My record against people is 42-5, quite good. I also play a lot of ddr, which is extremely popular up here too. O yea by the way, nice avatar ethix:D

My mall jus got Initial D version 2, i use the fd, but i seem to get owned. Any tips? O yea i was the only one there that was drifting, everyone else was gripping:mad:

You cant really drift in that game, and even if you do, it's only faster on a few corners because of the way the games super unrealistic world physics work. If you want to drift, an FF car like the MR2 is recommended, otherwise just get a Honda Integra Type-R DC2.

but you wouldn't know because of the "super unrealistic world physics" just to quote myself :) But MR2 is one of the worst cars in the game, the AE86 is ok to kinda drift in.

I'd never buy that for 7500, it's too easy and not challenging enough of an overall game to pay that much for it, i'd much rather pay 8500 and get battle gear than 7500 for intial D.
And Drifting isn't very slow in real life, maybe you've just yet to see some professionals have their hand at it in person, but it's deffinatley not very slow

Yes it is. You are not a professional. Nobody on this board is a professional. Professionals do everything faster. Compared to grip driving, drifting is very slow. It's all physics. The laws of physics. Clouds of smoke are dramatic. Drift is the figure skating of the racing world.

I'm surprised none of you lot blew a gasket over this comment:
Based around the characters from a famous comic strip...
