I'd say it'd be wrong to take advantage of anyone regardless if it were a man or woman, both can be just as vulnerable &/ or self-centered, someone mentioned, what of the character of the widow ...
Frankly, this topic and many responses sound abit like a typical Jerry Springer show

If she was ultra hot and was really up for it (and I didn't force it on her what-so-ever, I just happened to be 'there'), yes I would probably be weak willed and go with her (esp. if I was a bit tipsy anyway). I would still be nice and ask if its really what she wanted (pointing out that the timing was pretty inappropiate), and if she still wanted it, well yeah... but thats not really taking advantage...

The actual 'bet' or whatever wouldn't mean anything in terms of whether that oppurtunity came up... I wouldn't force the situation in any way.

However, I voted 'NO' because morally (and ideally) I am against it, and I would definately feel really bad about if afterwards. At the time people make mistakes though - especially if they are drunk... so I couldn't say I would be able to say 'no' if she really wanted it...

Its a fine line, especially if she instigated the whole thing (and you had forgotten about the so-called bet completely).


In a way, she would be taking advantage of me (regardless of her motives/frame of mind), and in another way (due to said frame of mind) it could be said I was letting her be some kind of victim of her own desires... I think both people would be equally to blame. To think the man should be more in control of the situation and should dictate (and be responsible for) what happens more than the woman is a very 1950s kinda mindset. The woman is just as at fault as she clearly doesn't respect her dead boyfriend... Its very far fetched that a woman would act so horny when her boyfriend just died anyway... the whole thing is a ridiculous Jerry Springer style situation.

So I think it would definately be messy, and wrong (for both parties), but I'm not sure if anyone would technically be taking advange more than anyone else...
