hmmm thanks for reminding me, i forgot to put "i dont care option" so expect poll option change

Sure.

I don't get why everyone says it's cheesy. The piano bit at the start is very nice, lovely melody. The guitar section uses much of the same melodies but doesn't work as well, it's only ok, but that's fine, not everything can be Firth of Fifth. The piano reprise is again lovely and wraps up the song well. The song is fairly decent and suits a GT intro very well.
They should just do what they did with the US version of GT4...use an orchestral version for the first half, then switch to something else. I don't care for the second half of MOTC. As for what the second song would be, these three come to mind (2 of which were from GT3).
I hope not, those four songs are all terrible (including that one remake of a Nena song that might even be worse than the original...).

so far Moon Over the Castle hasn't appeared yet in US/EU versions of GT except GT4 during the introduction then cuts to Panama by Van Halen so do you think Moon Over the Castle should appear in all versions of GT6 or do you prefer diff. intro music

Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes,

Yes, but with some kind of alternative take on it, rather than the 80's rock thing.

Although I kind of liked the emo band (My Chemical Romance?) thing on the Euro version in GT5 - in a guilty pleasure kind of way.

Having bought the original Japanese release of GT1 on release date, there really is no replacement for MOC.

I doubt PD will care whether you like MOTC or not. They'll probably have a remixed version of it for the Japanese intro and an alternative intro for EU, PAL and US regions.

Loved GT1 and GT2's US intros with Manic Street Preachers and The Cardigans. They were both perfect. Never liked Moon Over the Castle, it always felt stuck in the '80s to me. It was out of place in '97 and it's definitely out of place now haha.

MOtC as an intro song would be great but if we had to pick a song for our GT6 intro that was in a previous GT game I'd choose Just a Day (GT3 intro) 👍 .

Oh man, GT3 had some epic Feeder songs.

I think they should put "Moon Over The Castle" in every intro. Its a great piece of music, I listen to it nearly every day. And the guitar solo in the Gran Turismo 2 version is absolutely staggering, that's the main reason why they should put it in all intro's.

Moon Over The Castle brings back memories, and works very well as an "Get Psyched" song when firing up Gran Turismo. You get so psyched you can't wait to drive. Plus, you can't skip the intro either. It feels good. You feel your heart rate increase, you feel butterflies in your stomach, and you burst into flames when you hear those engines roar.
Gran Turismo. The ride of your life.

EDIT: Like this if you agree!

You're very, very right. It brings great memories to me too, for example when I was a kid (I mean, a real kid, when I was 9 or 10 years old) and turned a 460 hp Viper into a 1100 hp monster... :D
Oh and by the way: I'm playing GT2 at the moment on my PS3.

Yeah I know right? I did the same, but with the Escudo

That's awesome man, I think I forgot my GT2 disc home at moms, or else I would have played that at this very moment too!

Oh man, I had some great with the Escudo. My father tuned the car, but he didn't got it managed to reach the 430 kph mark (I'm not good when it comes from kph to mph :D). At one day, my two cousin's were there, they and me played with the car settings and boom: 432 kph in the first run, 437 in the second run. Actually, i mad the Viper in GT3, so as the Escudo.

Haha that's awesome ^^ and don't worry about kph / mph, I use kph 👍
Yeah the Escudo reached new "heights" in GT3

Who in the hell cares a bloody intro?! I think they should toss the intro away and give us a decent racing simulation instead!

You guys hurt my feelings. :indiff:
Hey i like the intro's , go play sim race way for a proper simulator and stop making selfish comments!

At one point, one of my cousin's and me went quite mad, because we sold all cars that my father won (except for the Oreca Viper). And if you can imagine, my father started to shout at us. :DD

I don't know what the fuss is about. I wouldn't want it as the intro, and I'd make sure to take it out of in-game playlist. There are hundreds of songs like this, SEGA games in particular. The All-encompassing orchestral bit of GT4 I can deal with, but the US GT2 has the best to me, mainly because it doesn't tease you with a lengthy setup, or much of a setup at all.
