Be more compelled to vote in the various competitions if the polls for the competitions were annonymous voting? Or does it matter?

We seem to range in the number of votes for the various competitions from the teens to the upper double digits. So maybe it's a little intimidating to some to have the whole world see which (ie: who's) picture they voted for.

It's OK to vote here because it's annonymous.

i thought the polls were public so that the runner/organiser could make sure that no one voted for themselves?

It doesn't matter to me either. I don't care if people can see on what photo i voted. It's my choice.
I do know that sometimes when people can't decide on wich photo to vote they check the results first and see where the more popular members or the majority have voted so they vote for that photo aswell, you know to blend in.

That's why i suggested to hide the results untill after the competition. I don't know how that idea sits with other people here though. We should have a poll about that.
