on the side. Your thinking of those electronic clutches that they have on Rally Cars. Like Famine said, it shifts quicker but the weight of the components makes it about even if you did it yourself...

No, he's not thinking of that. He's talking about an actual automatic transmission with a line-pressure increasing modification so that it shifts more quickly and more firmly.

They are faster for drag racing. Automatics tend to hunt around too much and thaey are too vulnerable to heat for any kind of roafd racing.

yeah the overheating thing is true but when you buy the kit you can also get an upgraded cooling system. It will run cooler and last longer.
