Thanks to all, I'm looking forward to the weekly competition. With no FFB on the PS3 and a long time before we can get our hands on GT5, this is a great way to continue playing GT4 as I was running out of things to do. I should have started a long time ago. Generally I race with a DFP, manual transmission, minimal or no assists whenever possible. Wish my paddle shifters on the DFP would stop skipping gears as it is not always convenient to reach over and grab the shifter. For me it is still more enjoyable than playing with the DS2.
I'm absolutely stunned at the lap times some of you are able to muster. I worked and worked at the qualifier race, and I know I left some on the table, but two frakking seconds!!!??? Devastating. I have some work to do to just compete with some of you-fantastic! I like the weekly photos as well, didn't have time to do that this week.
Thanks again to all that take the time to set these races up, and to all those who regularly participate-after only a week I'm having a far better time than racing Nascar 07 online with a bunch of wall-riding kids.
Sphinx, I am MaxDrive equipped, so replays are no problem. I like the idea of a randomly selected weekly replay as well.
Good luck to all.
