Hi everyone, here's the thread where all the teams can find out who their partner will be and see their results for the two man team event spanning weeks 11 and 12. Remember this is just for added fun and is not to be confused with the regular WRS results in any way. It's just for something new and to give drivers a chance to team up and meet some new people. If it works out maybe we can do it again sometime. If not, then I guess we won't.
Scoring works as follows:
For week 11, all drivers were arranged from fastest time to slowest with no separations for divisions. The top driver got 100 points, second place got 99, third got 98, and so on. The results for week 11 were as follows:

This is to add a "Wild Card" to the results and allow the first round to give each team slightly different results from each other, or else everyone would have the same amount of points. There are 29 teams total, being paired by the fastest overall driver with the slowest driver overall, and so on down the line. The teams list and first round scoring looks like this:

There will be two more groups of points added to each team's total after the end of the 10 lap race as follows:
1) The results for the total time of the ten laps will be tallied in order regardless of division as was done in week 11. However, 1st place will receive 200 points, 2nd place will earn 199, and so on down to the bottom. The key to helping your team earn the most possible points is by finishing ahead of as many people who beat you last week as possible.
2) The fastest single lap from your race is also to be submitted with your total. These will also be tallied from fastest to slowest, and 1st will earn 100 points, 2nd 99 points, and so on. So even if your total is not the greatest, you may be able to boost your team's points by nailing a great lap in the race. In case of a tie in total points at the end of the event, the team with the fastest average best single in race lap will be the winner.
I guess that's it for now, it's pretty simple so hopefully everyone can understand how it works. Once the 10 lap race is over and all final total times and best in race lap time is submitted, I will compile the results and post them in this thread. It may take a day or two so be patient, there is a lot of data for me to compile!
The individual results will be posted in the regular Week 12 resukts thread separated by division as always.
