WRX race at Seattle! Come join.

Ok, this is a challenge with the Subaru Impreza WRX. It cant be a race version, but you can use any version of a Subaru WRX you can find.

I chose the WRX because its max hp is only around 550hp so people are encouraged to fully mod their WRX's. Then it wont get out of hand, with uncontrollable cars.

The track is Seattle 1 or Seattle going forward.

Any/Every mod other than hybrids are accepted.

Here are the cars allowed in:
Impreza Sedan WRX Sti '00
Impreza Sports Wagon WRX STi '00
Impreza 22B STi Version '98
Impreza Sedan WRX STi Version VI '99
Impreza Sports Wagon WRX STi Version VI '99

GT3,cause GT2 would have more impreza's...Of course im racing in this with my new RED Impreza WRX '00!And AltF8,There is no 2000 models in GT2!

I'll take the WRX sti Version VI "99 Sedan. :)

I am using the Impreza WRX STi '00

It is white and it has 560hp exactly.

Fully modded, but I am not notoriously good with AWD's.

This challenge is for GT3

I ran about 10 laps tonight, but none of them were as clean as they could be. I am not going to submit my times. All of my times were kind of inconsistent and I wouldnt want anyone to accept that time as my best. Sorry, but it will be another day before my times are up.

PS. If you haven't already run your laps. Try and save or just watch the best lap replay. If anyone has the time, it would be swell if you could tell me what top speed you reached.

Ok, I did a 1'31,789

I know I can improve but my suspension couldnt handle all of the bumps. Tomorrow I will tune it a little better.

Oh yeah. Heheh...

1:31.248

I ran in a 22B with everything.
By the time I was done the screen said I was running at 559HP.
I could run 1:32's consistently. I broke into the 1:31s twice. decided to stop.
I would probably pick up as much as a half second if I was any good with manual tranny.

This was also done in under ten laps. I figure by then my performance and attention span will be down the tubes.

I shall try to compete in this, and of course,it's gonna be in my WRX wagon IV,hehehe!it's got 550HP maxed out,but I'm gonna detune it to about 500 to 475 so I can lose some of that extra weight with that engine havin' to push, maybe it'll turn just a bit better that way.I'll at least give it a shot though..hell,it worked with my R32 when I detuned it from 859HP to 475 ^_^,I was able to turn better, instead trying to turn a huuuuge brick =D,hehe.so,this is the original Seattle Circuit huh?is there any requirements?such as tyres usage,or a certain number of laps you can run?or is it just a free run till hopefully you beat your opponent's time?either way, this sounds interesting =D

Well, I hope to try this later this week.

Went to see the Two Towers last night, so I didn't get time. ;)

Yep, I do love my GT3 WRX. It's quite the bear sometimes though. I'm thinking I need to go ahead and get the brake balance controller installed. ;)

well, here's my stats so far,and this time was made on the 4th lap by the way!

561HP
Super Soft tyres on front and rear
TCS = level 0
ASM = level 1
everything else installed

1:29.773 with my Impreza 22B-STi Version(J) - 555 Sonic Blue Mica

this time feels awsome for me,considering the fact that my Trueno held the first place record with a 1:30.990 =D!

hehehe,it surprises me that you wasn't already gonna use the 22B ^_^.I was intending on using my wagon, but I just thought I'd give my 22B STi a whirl first, and come to find out, that time suited me well.but maybe I should try grip driving with my 22B now.I might be able to shave off a couple of milliseconds, hehe.oh yeah,by the way,I forgot to mention,if this helps any...I was using a manual transmission when I made that record.have fun everybody!

AE86Driver

hehe,I say that now,but I used to use an automatic, but since I got used to driving with a manual,I dread driving with an automatic now, hehe.well, here's my new times if anybody cares to see =D

1:29.396
1:29.386
1:29.014
1:28.859
1:28.731
1:28.496
1:27.663

and that was with my 22B STi still, but through these times,I gained 3 extra HP,so now I have 564HP,and I only have 73 miles put on it =D,I hope these times are good enough to compete with everybody :D!

I got into the low 29s last night with the 22B, but I don't think my 'skills' are up to where they used to be.

well,as I said,I've only got 73.0 miles on my WRX and I probably don't have twice as good skills as you.I just put drift settings on mine so I could drive it better.don't worry AltF8,there's always a faster time,I believe you can make a really good time, just keep trying :D!

Well, I bought a 22B fresh. Power isn't the issue, I can't tune a suspension to save my soul. I'm still experimenting with what I enjoy.

ah,I see.I'm glad that someone else thinks somewhat the way I do =D.by the way,if you didn't know what I was talkin' about..I was talkin' about when you said,"Power isn't the issue".I rely more on suspension than I do horsepower as well =D.but anyways,I'm glad you bought a new 22B..maybe it'll be an awsome car with your experimenting.the best of luck to ya with your experimenting on your new car!

Hi I'm new here so forgive me if i mess this up a bit but registered 2 days ago a 1.28.914 in my fully tuned 22b 575 hp it took a lot of laps tho.
Is that fast?

Surely someones gotta beat that I'm slooooow??????

BRING IT OOOOONN

Heh. I decided I would try out the WR-X Sport Wagon. I wasn't really that focused on what I was doing only wanted to get a few laps in to get a feeling of where I stacked up. This resulted in my run being really sloppy. Didn't really pay attention, but I think all I was able to manage was a 1'34.xxx. The suspension was quite hard, so the car didn't go over the bumps/jumps too good and there was a lot of sliding (especially when going over the railroad tracks after the long back straightaway). I'll probably have to sit down and take the time to re-run this in one of the WR-X sedans to be competitive.
