My worst wreck was about to pass Yeratel for 2nd and then Fox spins out in front of me. Huge hit loses me a lap.

And me and Dax wrecked on final lap

FlyingFox
Me too and all me own fault, heavy right foot at times

Yep, i think out of all the times I crashed, only one wasn't my fault. I kept losing the back end coming out of the banking of turn one. I was lucky not to collect anyone else as I was sliding down.

Well it all changes now. This weekend Le Mans. I'm trying for an earlier start time but will not be able to tell you until friday at earliest.

Hoping for a good result at Le Mans but I feel the Chevrolet and Cobra have this one in the bag.

Eager to see the race report and table updates

The Cobra was a pain at HSR. In 100% wet conditions, I was doing 1'22s. The car was also twitchy and snap-oversteer was very easy to get in T1 and the kink before the final turn. The tires also didn't last that long, after 8-10 laps the wear starts to feel noticeable and you have to start lifting in T1 (you always have to lift in the kink, even when the tires are at their best). But even when you lift, the car sometimes oversteers in that corner. I caught it most times, but not always and the results were disastrous.

So I tried the Camaro to see if it's any different. Immediately, it's much much easier to drive, just so much more grip in the corners. I was right away into the low 20s/high 19s, car should be even faster with low fuel. And best of all, not needing to lift in T1 or the kink, no pesky snap-oversteer and no tire wear to speak of (over 12 laps at least)! The Camaro is easier to drive in 100% wet than the Cobra is in the dry.

Anyway, I'm glad there won't be any wet races for a while. I'm also going to paint the cobra in an effort to try to avoid getting hit by protos. At HSR, I got hit by protos 3-4 times in quali and twice in the race (both caused damage, one light, the other heavy). Is it the red colour? It has to be. After also getting hit at Laguna Seca, I'm hoping this doesn't become a trend.

Fluorescent pink and green it is then. 👍 :sly:

I did a 1:20.0 at best in the wet in the Corvette.

@Chris, Not sure what the results in the PT class but top 3 in GT class where DK, Akmuq and myself.

I could only manage 1'21s/22s as well. The thing is, I managed to keep it out of the barrier. Should I be surprised that my last 2 GTP wins were in wet conditions?

Looking forward to Le Mans, hopefully I won't be so attracted to the barriers this time. The start should be a laugh too.

90% chance I will not make it to Le Mans. Really sucks, can't even get on at all this week. Wanted to try some GT cars. :(

Bad news. With my internet switchover looks like that I might not be on this weekend :scared:

Friday almost 100% no-no
Saturday 50% no chance
Sunday 25% no chance.

I'll do standings ASAP.

Just going to publicly put this out...

I have to go by 10PM (10:20 ish at the very latest) and if Le Mans is 3 hours, then that will take it to 11PM.

If it was at 7:45 ish and 2 and a half hours long then I could race. :)

7.45 is intended to be my latest start time.

Don't know. I'll post from GTP App when I can. TOCA is still on for sure though, just may have a different host.

Not sure if I agree with rescheduling for a different day..

I can make it, but it's unfair for people who can't.
