Should we do a classic 1960's style standing Le Mans start?

For prototype drivers I am offering just six spots next season... Going to sort things out as to what cars and where...

You should spec 6 different cars. Would make the grid a bit more interesting.

2J is a can-am car. 2D is a troll car. Toyota 7 a Can-Am... with no lights...

Might hop online now for some testing, anyone want to join?

I think some of us might not be able to endure the 'Ring for 2 hours. :nervous:

Toyota 7 isn't a Can-am car, just sayin'. :P

2D destroys on twisty tracks and gets destroyed on fast ones.

Since the important championships are done and dusted, can I run the Corvette at Spa (excluded from points) since I'm most likely going to run it next year?

At 200mph early on at Toscana, Carb, Lancer, Joe were battling like crazy. So obviously they didn't see me having a bit of an issue having been put up to over 210mph in there draft...

Next season is going to be fantastic, I know I showed you some potential Nurburgring artwork but you have to see the rest of the pics, I cannot make up my mind what to use

EDIT: Just found this online

Rolex-Daytona-race-history.jpg

Without question, that is the most epic collection of screenshots I've seen anywhere on :gtplanet:. The near-blowover, the Nürburgring photos, Goodwood (didn't look like the real one, but who's keeping track), and the historic Daytona photo. Boo-yah! Seeing the iconic Mercedes 300SL in there did leave me wondering why it wasn't on the list for this season, but from what Furi said to me, it will be available for next season. As for which track should have a 2-hour race, I would say Spa for a 2-hour and the Nürburgring for a longer race. Which brings me to this question: If the Nordschleife is used, what kind of start would be used?

I reckon Nurb's off. So next season it's:

Rolex Daytona Challenge (70 Laps, TC)
Monterey Sportscar Classic (60 laps)
Goodwood Classic (80 laps)
6th WSC Le Mans Classic (50 laps, TC)
Monza 200 (56 laps)
Toscana Grand Prix (80 laps)
Spa Sportscar Grand Prix (52 laps??)

Works out nicely as the triple crown events are season opener, midway, and closer.
