I love this movie, I had it for quite a while before it came out. I would always talk to people about it and people thought I was crazy, now they dont shut up about it. Oh well.

Has anyone seen the Mr. Sub commercial that rips off Napoleon Dynamite? This guy in a horrible tuxedo standing in front of the counter saying (in perfect imitation Napoleon accent) "I took this girl out on a date and I really wanna impress her!"

Anyway, the commercial isn't bad, but they copied the movie and not very well either. I hope this is not the beginning of a very long and very painful trend...

Watched it again the other day... sooooooo hilarious! I think that was the funniest time. 👍 I should post some sound clips of me quoting napoleon because people tell me I don't have to try and I sound just like him.

I watched this last night and it has a handful of really funny parts. The movie itself is quite stupid and you have to have certain personality to appreciate the comedy. I would say rent it but dont expect anything at all and you might appreciate some of the humor. Overall the uncle was my favorite character. That guy was hilarious!!

Actually I'd say your descriptions were more like a saver than a spoiler. After watching the trailer and reading these scene descriptions I'll be sure to stay far away from this one. I know I know it's an aquired taste. I have no desire to aquire a taste for S*** though.

Just slip that in with the new milk commercials claiming that the calcium in milk lowers PMS.

Aside from the dance scene towards the end, a few of the Uncle Rico and Kip scenes, and the random quotes, I loathed this film.

john heder (i think) the guy who plays napolean looks nothing like him and when i saw him at the mtv movie awards he looked like a nice guy. Not to mention Napolena Dynamite took home like 5 awards including best pic and actor.

I think all lthese people are hating on it becuase it was so successful, and their like "mainstream media sucks, I only like indie blah blah blah" Infact when you think about it, trying to only watch or listen to indie things, is kinda mainstream now. And that is my ramble for today.

This movie, god damn, one of the funniest movies i have ever seen. EVER!!!!, it is a quite descisive humour though, you either hate it or you LOVE IT! (like me)

the scenes are so random and hilarious, it is just great, no way to describe it

I love the scene where he's standing in front of his locker and gets pushed into it, then he reacts with an unco kick 2 seconds later ROFL funny stuff. so random 👍
