xbox 360 steering wheel on ps3 help

Hey,I have a 360 drive FX axial steering wheel,I got for Forza 2,now when I set it up via usb with my PS3,it doesnt boot up,obviously.Is it possible to flash it to work with my ps3?or maybe get it to work with a hardmod etc.NOT my ps3,just hardmod the steering.please help.thanks
