Hello. I am just going to ask on here if anybody else has experience this issue with their Xbox One console or has any solution with the issue I am having.

I have my Xbox One console connected to Xbox Live via a Wi-Fi connection. The problem is that when I first fire up the Xbox One console, I can game online fine for the first 5 minutes, after this, the lag will keep increasing as time goes on and then about 15-20 minutes into gaming, I will be disconnected from Xbox Live.

I don't think the issue has anything to do with my internet connection or Wi-Fi router. I am using a Netgear D6400 which I purchased and is an excellent performer and works opposite end of the house and works perfectly fine and has no issues with laptops. My internet profile I am currently on is 'Mid-Speed Internet' which gives me ~8.75Mbps download and about 0.9Mbps Upload. My ISP does do a 'High-Speed Internet' option (for my locality), which gives me near 10Mbps, however I find it less stable and keeps dropping out frequently, so I opted for a slightly slower, but more stable profile.

When I do a 'Detailed Network Statistics', it goes like this:

TEST 1 - DOWNLOAD = 8.75Mbps UPLOAD = 0.88Mbps LATENCY = 165ms (This is good, and what it should be).
TEST 2 - DOWNLOAD = 4.33Mbps UPLOAD = 0.78Mbps LATENCY = 240ms
TEST 3 - DOWNLOAD = 3.01Mbps UPLOAD = 0.79Mbps LATENCY = 333ms
TEST 4 - DOWNLOAD = 2.03Mbps UPLOAD = 0.44Mbps LATENCY = 673ms

---THEN---

TEST 5 - FAILED, then I see my Xbox One is no longer connected to Wi-Fi. I then try to reconnect only to find out that no Wi-Fi networks show up on my Xbox One console (as if the Wi-Fi module has stopped working).

To me, it seems as though the Xbox One's Wi-Fi card is faulty and failing. What are your takes on this issue and please could anybody help me out? At first, a 'Factory Reset' on the console fixes it, but only for 1 day then the same issue happens again! IT DRIVES ME INSANE!

What happens if you try pinging google.com or something on your PC? Are you still experiencing the latency? If not, I'd try connecting via ethernet cable rather than wirelessly to your Xbox One. If that still doesn't do it, bypass the wireless router entirely and go directly into your modem. You could also try a factory reset of your wireless router if all else fails. I can't say I have had the same issue. My issue with Xbox One has been getting a decent replacement controller after Battlefield 4 caused me to toss my original one across the room.

Was their a need to bump a 6month old topic if you do not have the same kind of issue?
