Just tried the PAL version with my 1.2 NTSC and it WORKED!!!!

Really weird but somehow it worked! My ISO is NTSC 1.2 from America and it accepted a PAL Gameshark code

Could there really be an explanation to this? "The world may never know..."

That's quite strange. I remember my PAL save being accepted from 1.2.

I also found what was wrong with the code:

Nope, sorry, but it didn't work. Only the PAL. I'll see if this also applies to the other codes you got. Ironic, a game from America with PAL codes.

EDIT: Well what do you know, the "Cars Always Free" code for PAL also worked here. I know my copy of GT2 is both NTSC and 1.2 because some of my other codes *ahem*nitro codes*ahem* for the NTSC 1.2 works here.

I have a feeling you may have the PAL version, but has been mislabled as NTSC 1.2. Sounds farfetched, I know, but it could be possible.

If your copy was from the "Greatest Hits" version, then that could be the reason, if not, then i'm not entirely sure why it works.

Now, I must admit: the Cars Free Mod code for NTSC DOES work! . But still, the Race-Cam Mod code for PAL is the only one that works!

Unfortunately, it doesn't. I just bought a muffler upgrade for my GT-R Road Car and Nismo sucked my money away!

Nope. The PAL version of view changer works. Oh, by the way, just tried the cars free 1.2 code and it works. And also that free car code doesn't apply to the car parts.

How bizzare, I searched for the cheat in 1.2, and it's the exact same code as PAL.

Meh, oh well it's not like the whole will come down and celebrate... unless it becomes news But still, it is quite shocking. Pal mixed with NTSC = mindf:censored:🤬** I'll keep on checking for any other abnormalities!

Just found a couple of things: The lap modifier for endurance races for PAL changes my track to Autumn Ring (curious, eh? ). The NTSC-J version locks up my game. Also, I can't use the handicap codes. I'm using PEC for ePSXe. I can't use any version of it. Weird. Also, try to give me the codes for the shininess for the other versions. Only hand out the Slot 1 code. No need for you to work towards all 100 of them.

EDIT: The code goes all the way to FF, after that if you type 100 or 110, you'll have a slow start, like using 20 or 30 in the code. Started at around 160 MPH w/ a Toyota GT-One Road Car.

Also note that this will change the License Leaderboards for the medals to 0:00'000 That code will nuke the medals, so give a warning not to use this code for the licenses. (Now I may be asking too much, but...) Since it seems that you are an expert at editing, I was wondering if *maybe* there was a way to, I don't know, change the soundtracks.

Well, I don't think 0A is played there. I think it plays wherever "city" you are in. I guess that would've been there, but I think it got cut out. Also, If you listen, the song is about ~5-6 seconds long. Too short for a menu IMO. And it also depends on the region too (I guess).
