At about the four minute mark the car loses power.
A few sources report the company will run again with a production version of the SU7 Ultra.

It’s as if McLaren made an EV sport sedan.

The 'ring classifies it as a prototype/pre-production vehicle... which puts it in the same class as the 919 Evo, so it very much does not hold an actual record yet. The production version won't have slicks, 2 tonnes of downforce or a Carbon Fibre body, though it's power advantage means it may well still beat the Taycan GT's record when they try with the production version.
