Wow, you did so well with that, I was going to try to bring this back in too, but after trying to get used to the handling of this car on my first run and getting frustrated, I started to slide it but it just never felt right to me, I couldn't do what you jist did with this one 🔥

I have experienced this only twice, because it turned out that I still had hold of the paddle a little bit as I turned in, but now when I want to do it I can't get it to work 😅

From the comments about the Viper trial, I can't wait to try it, sounds the the M3 again 😁
Thanks dude. Only managed this on pad and getting a clean lap took so many tries where I lost count of how often sudden oversteer killed the perfect run.

Briefly tried to drift the Viper and this car is such a pig, it just wants to slide into the dirt. Good luck with this one, maybe you'll fare better :)

I was pretty pleased with my 2nd lap given how awful this car is around corners, a few tries later and I improved by 1 second but I'm still not close to gold. I tried following a few ghosts (with a delay) but I'm finding that they can seem to brake much harder than I can in this car, which I've never seen before. If I use the same braking point I just can't hit the same racing line. I'll have to check my controller inputs.

Did some laps with the Vulcan at Interlagos yesterday, and got a time that was under 3.40% off the top. I don’t see myself shaving off a few more tenths to break into gold range, though. Also, is it just the Racing Softs talking, or is the Vulcan actually a blast to drive?

It is very counter intuitive, you have to RELEASE the brake when you are ready to turn in even if you think you are going too fast. If you do that, you release some of the traction for turning. If you don't, you watch the ghost turn while you keep going straight out braking yourself.

Another note....there is a small delay on the ghost's input and you also have to factor in your own reaction time. Brake a tiny little bit earlier than them. If ghost brakes just pass the 100 board, brake AT the 100 board. You can slowly eeek your braking point forward.

Interesting, I didn't realise there was a small delay on their input. I think I'm going to go back and find my braking points from videos and practice rather than the ghost, I'm finding if I use the ghost I run wide even if I let off the brakes before turning in. However my main issue on this one seems to be that I'm not using as much of the rumble strip as I can. That and I get the feeling there's a bit of extra turn in to be found on the throttle and I'm not quite getting it right in slower corners.

Have I ever mentioned I really hate Autopolis??? Several hundred times before, I hear you all say?

It's genuinely too boring for me to even want to try and learn it 😂😂

I'll crack it eventually but it'll be time in my life that I won't enjoy. I could be eating crisps and ice cream and pizza but no I'm driving this track

I am sorry about this but I had to sell my Playstation 4 the other day. So I'm stuck here with a 32 inch TV but no ps4 console. We ran out of money and I was worried about my mom not having enough to eat so I sold my console for $100. And I cancelled my PS plus subscription so idk when I'll be back to compete with you guys. Can I enter sport mode without a PS Plus subscription? I hope so, everyone should be welcome to participating without paying a monthly $10 fee. I will miss out on the Viper challenge and the Vulcan one.

Gave it a go. Pretty pleased with that. It's not that hard to learn actually but I spent a lot of the boring lap time thinking about the Roman Empire, also wondering what would happen if a horse sized duck fought 100 duck sized horses

Hope the aliens don't go too much quicker than they are currently!

First test in Autopolis :
First 🤮🤮🤮
Second of all I don't find this TT as exciting as the one with the M3 on Dagron Trial or that of the Vulcan on Interlagos (one of my favorite combos ❤️❤️😍😍😍😍).
For what ? Because PD makes us drive liners more than cars. It doesn't brake, it doesn't turn... Honestly, if PD cars really looked like that in real life, I think the majority of people would travel by horse-drawn carriage or bicycle !!!!
Anyway, when I moored in a zone or with a time of 2'02'599 with optimal time at 2'02'3xx

I'm absolutely sure you will have no issues to enter the 2:01 here.
According to Tidgney's predictions, the WR should end around 1:58.5xx.
So, a safe gold would be around 2.02 flat.

Bon courage my friend

I'll try to save some tenths when my motivation to drive the Snake will come back.

Thank you my dear Daniel.:cheers:
If, as you say, to be sure of keeping the gold you have to be below 2'02, then I think I have succeeded. 2'01 is achievable. You too can do it my friend 💪💪💪💪

Improve my time at 2'02'136 with optimal time at 2'02'030
