Because personally I'm not a fan of drifting D1GP cars, and no one really uses them anymore (at least on x-link) , I think they are well-suited for certain tracks, but I would really prefer stock cars drifting, since I think competing with cars you normally drift with, would be easier ( as long as the cars are matched closely in HP of course) and with the idea of having it judged sounds good.
Although I would probably not participate in a D1GP comp, it would be fun to watch the replays
