ummmmmm.... lets just put it this way. Both have strengths and weaknesses. Just go to tomshardware.com and check out their benchmark charts. Explaining technicalities is only going to give all of us headaches :P
 
you should get the x800gto. its the best agp card you can get for under 200 bucks.

i just ordered myself one and it should be here in 2 or 3 days. Dont spend money on faster shipping. One time with basic shipping i got it the next day after ordering.


there is also a change you will get a 480 chipset one which can unlock another 4 piplines making the total 16 pipelines :) pluss the card is an insane overclocker.
 
I'm going for a PCi-E card but I'd rather not have to deal with overclocking since I'm clueless about it. :guilty: :grumpy: Thanks though :D
 
the PCI-e version (gto2) has a 100% success rate for unlocking 16 pipelines. and it only costs 180 bucks. i think there is also one namebrand that releases the card with 16 pipes already unlocked so it runs as fast as cards that cost alot more.
