They could have at least given you an F2007. Those pricks

I won't even be attempting this event, but I already knew that before reading your horror story.

ps: the prize cars in GT5 are badd compared to previous GT's

I think they tried to give you all of the more sought after standard cars as prizes to minimize time wasted waiting for them to show up in the used dealer. Also explains why every premium model (barring the X1) is for sale.

I love the mysteries that surround GT games even months after release!

Haha, I'll keep my cards close to my chest and wait for more information before I start anything.... difficult! :P
I've also found that I tend to get 'Better' prize cars in B-Spec events. 💡

Got the Mazda Furai using my Bob. Probably my favourite prize car so far.

I know, if you read my post I even mention the fact that the supposed prize list lists a 2010 F1 car and not the X1. Someone commented that "well since the F1 isn't in the official car list, it must be the X1." That put enough impetus on my part to give it a shot. I didn't know someone was making up **** for the sake of making **** up.
.
That would be me, sorry it it didn't give you the X1 man, I just figured the list meant that. But hey, at least you confirmed it for everyone else :)

Well they still give you the veyron pretty early in the game and I'm guessing its the 2nd fastest car in the game

Racing involves corners, which means the bloated (2 tons!) Veyron is far from being the second fastest car in the game.

On kaz twitter, he says, on level 30 you get Sebastien Loeb Challenge... the x1 is the prize for that challenge.

You get the X1 After completing the "Sebastien Vettel" challenge which is unlocked at Level 30.

Okay. The issue posed by the thread has been addressed, so I see no point in leaving it open any longer because there is othing left to say.
