As most of you probably know, ferrari is well known for its lenedary f40 and f50. Well ferrari is coming out with the new 7 speed, v12, 600-700hp supercar. It shares many body charateristics as the f50. I'll look for a pic.....

A first look at the new F60. This car is expected to take the crown from the Mclaren F1 as the fastest production car in the world. Rumored to have a 650 HP V-12, the F60 will have a 0-60 around 3 seconds and top speed around 230 MPH. It may possibly be first shown at the 2002 Paris Auto Show. Price will be over $400,000 and as many as 350 may be built. More Pics and info as I get them.

Heres what i found. This pic is of the concept drawing...it doesnt look like the one there coming out with:

and here is a car they biult, keep in mind it doesnt have a paint job and is a rough draft of the super cars real outcome:

I read that they weren't record-chasing with it, and that it might not even be as fast as the 208MPH Murcielago. The black car in your photos is a 360 Modena-based mule for the the engine and transmission. I think the bottom one just looks like an F50.

Still, it's nice to see that they're keeping the 10 year thing going, even if all the journos are likely to say "Well it's good, but it's not as good as the F40".

It doesnt have a seven speed gearbox

Power comes from a 6.0-litre mid-mounted aluminium V12, expected to develop about 485 kW, driving through a six-speed sequential manual gearbox.

Acceleration from rest to 100 kmh is expected to take only 3.2 seconds, and top speed will be about 330 kmh.

here we go again on the other thread which was started before this I am told the the picture you have here is not that of a Ferrari F60 and now we are going to argue over a 7 speed gearbox I dont care we will just have to wait as the artical where I got the new from says a 6 speed

(Censored)! Jeezes, that's ugly! (The round headlamps). I think the prior pics, mainly the red one, are more accurate...
