The back end of this car looks pretty good.

1990 GM CDS-2 Prototype

Not a typical looking vehicle for General Motors. It was an experimental, front-wheel-drive, 2-seater sports car powered by an advanced two-stroke 1.5L three-cylinder engine making 110hp. Styling looks like a modern interpretation of a classic British sports car. Sadly, not much information is known about this car.

Hmm also saw a ASC coupe I’ve seen this one before but not the convertible

Of which even fewer were made. Unfortunately that one lacks the ASC headlight covers (which weren't standard), but being white with the orange Campy honeycombs makes up for that. Blue-on-blue was just tacky.

Edit: That said, apparently body matched wheels weren't the only option on the blue cars, but I've only ever seen blue-on-blue.

I'd be amazed if Lotus didn't have a hand in this given that it was owned by GM at the time and that small sports cars have always been their bread and butter.

Presented at the Tokyo Motor Show, this was a rally version of Mazda’s 4x4 commercial truck with a tilting, canopied loading tray.

This um kit car

Looks like a MK3 GT40 with a Volkswagen motor.
This time it is a kit--a Fiberfab Valkyrie. Much like a Manta Montage, it could be had with tubular rails for a Chevrolet V8 with a ZF gearbox or it could be built atop a Beetle pan.

For my money, the Fiberfab Bonito is a better choice than the same company's Valkyrie when it comes to VW-based sports car inspired kits because it utilized a decklid panel to access the motor instead of a complete flip-up rear clip.

Really? I thought the rear end was different on the Daytona. I'll go check. *one google search later*

Ah, I was looking at the wrong year.
Greenhouse says everything; the Charger/Turismo is just so vastly different from the Daytona/Laser above the beltline.
