WOOT WOOT! Porsche CTR3!
Today was a good day.

Edit.
I hope your DS4 is still OK.

Very good reward!

Yes the DS4 is OK but there was a few moments earlier in the weekend I did almost ended up chucking it at the wall.

Off topic - I did that once on Star Wars Battlefront, controller smashed against the wall and OOPS kaput! I never played Battlefront again after
that and that also killed me playing any further EA games but that's not for this topic.

The workout car I got was the Toyota 86 GRMN

Hello all,

I'm a level 33, have only bought 1 car , the Go-kart I think, and got the BMW safety car in the mileage market (yesterday).
I only race gift cars obviously, so would be quite a coincidence that I've been hitting cars I actually need to complete the campaign mode GT leagues these past couple of days (samba bus, Raptor, Mazda roadster), last weekend the Honda Beat, to complete the Kei car championship.
yes I did get dupes a few times since I first started, but not so much since I've stuck to the following.

I practically only drive the required daily workout amount, not respecting the levels.
I mean, I still have championships to complete in the beginner level but I'm racing amateur or professional, as I win cars that give me access to those championships. Havent had time to hit the endurance level yet.
Otherwise, I do the Circuit experience, starting with the full lap challenge and then doing the sections. Feels like I get thru the full gold faster, as Ive already figured out the ''fastest'' way to get thru the sections by having figured out the full lap in my attempts (number varies from track to track).

All of this to say that the combination of the last 2 days has given me 3 cars that are getting me closer to finishing the beginner level.
And seems to have worked in my favor since I've started doing this. Haven't run out of new races i can participate in, gift cars are mostly for championships I haven't done yet and only got 8ish dupes total so far (oddly almost all in line when i sort by manufacturer, Porsche, Renault, Subaru). Oh and I haven't had to buy anycars to continue progressing in the game, which was the main point of my exposé.

Planning to post my full chronological list of cars in a future post, for those still trying to figure out the ''random algorithm''.

Now if I can only win the Clio.

Cheers,

Sorry for lengthy post.

Well the livery I mentioned yesterday is designed but not yet public/photo ready, after tonight's race all going well!

Yesterday had the most 'evil' of 'evil' wheels, as you can see from this thumbnail

28 Apr 20.jpg

The wheel contained Subaru WRX Rally Car, Ford Focus Rally Car, Alfa Romeo 4C and the Mazda Atenza Sedan L Package, of all
of those the only car I wanted was the Atenza as they are all dupes and lo and behold it gave me the Atenza.

After my yesterday long post, guess what, I tried the Porsche endurance race, finished second, cuz I couldn't focus while adjusting from power to Lean on the fuel efficiency gauge thing.
I find it very contre-intuitive, I'd prefer to change thru the dials vertically and adjust the settings horizontally rather then current opposite.
I'm on the DS4 of course.
Anyways I digress, so guess what car I got in the daily workout after completing that race...

The freaken 911 GT3 RS (991) '16 = the car you need to enter that championship, in exact same color as I got the original one,

So my theory has collapsed, the gods of GT have struck again.

Back to creating liveries then.

GT Sport roulette in a nutshell!

One other way to look at this - the more duplicates of cars you get the more liveries you can create!

When I started out creating liveries I had no plan (still don't) but now I just make liveries on whatever car the wheel gives me,

Yeah, 3rd Skyline R34!

No idea what I shall do with this, somehow I have a hard time being creative with these 90s cars, especially the ricers...

Always a challenge I guess!

My last two days have been continuing the 'old' theme, yesterday I got the BMW M3 2003 model (where's my Z8 game?) and today I got my fourth Volkswagen 1200 both of which I like and in the case of the M3 thanks to a wrap decal I found created an excellent Miku livery (again when I get it
published).

Have an idea for the VW but again depends on how it looks!
