Picked about 7, Mitsu/Nissan/Subaru for the occasional gems they put out. Aston/BMW/Merc and a couple of others for overall consistency.

Who voted for Cizeta?

RUF is my favorite here. it's the closest i can get to a Porsche. Also, TVR and Lotus are great with their less powerful cars.

Yeah it produces cars like Porsche's... It's originally a car tuning manufacturer of it.
And yes I think they're good too.

I feel like Ruf is to Porsche, Like Nismo is to Nissan or AMG is to Mercedes...

I don't really need a stock Porsche, the Ruf's have always been good to me. Obviously Porsche has some sort of reason to not let GT license their car's, but at the same time let Forza use them AND damage them for years.

Aston Martin: Truely beatiful cars. Rolling pieces of art.

BMW: Who doesn't like BMW ?

Buick: Big V8 in a Big boat.

Cadillac: In real life there are more cars than the crappy cien. The '59 Eldorado is one of their masterpiece along with the 2003 concept car the sixteen.

Chevrolet: Corvettes, camaros and the almighty '70 Chevelle SS 454.

Dodge: Chargers, Vipers, cars that are totally badass.

Ford: The creator of the pony car (Only 2 mustangs in the game WTF ??) Was kicking ferrari's ass with the GT40 yesterday and today with the GT.

Mercedes Benz: What can I say, this is my favorite brand. Classy but performant cars, and the best sounding engines hands down.

Pontiac: The (unofficial) creator of the muscle car, with the '63 tempest if I recall correctly. Our family used to buy them before buying nissans.

I think PD totally failed in choosing the car roster for the american brands. I mean, no old FORD Mustang? What the hell were they thinking? Only one Cadillac? A concept?

I was thinking that too, Shelby GT350 is amazing, but where's the boss 428 cobra jet, or the boss 429. Cadillac suck's with there line in the game, I wish they had put more into it.

I would suggest you to read the thread title, or better said the forum this thread is in, since we are talking about GT4 here. Porsche and Ferrari would be out of the picture.

Nissan - Skyline, of course.
NISMO - Same as above except insert the word "tuned" before the word "Skyline".
Mine's - I've gotten their Skyline around Tsukuba in under 56 secs.
Tommy kaira - The ZZII is technically the half-brother of the Skyline GT-R.
RE Amemiya - Who knew NA could kick some serious arse and have the engine size staying under 2 litres!

Nissan - For their epic 350z with unbelievable handling and grip. Who can forget the R34 GTR aswell, or the R390 (black) which leads to easy 200 point races.
Toyota - For the Supra RZ, my favourite car in real life (Or second favourite now, to the Noble M600). Not quite as good as the 350z, but has so much more power to make up for it.
TommyKaira - My favourite car to drive in GT4, the ZZII, which i think is awesome.
Audi - For the R8 prototype. Its epic, the first LMP car i drove in the game and i've always lovd it.
Proto Motors - For their Spirra, one of the most challenging cars to drive fast in the game i find. Its brilliant fun, and brilliantly fast when you get clean laps (The fun part, is trying to get just one clean lap on the ring, without clipping a kerb etc.)

There is no M3 MPS. It's the Mazdaspeed 6 MPS.
EDIT: It seems there is. The "M" probably stands for "Mazda", which is why you called the Mazda 3 the M3.

Yep it's not a very famous manufacturer though. Also there's only a Vertigo racing car in the display shop.(It's the only one car recorded on GT4)

Mercedes Benz- Cuz of the CLK race car and the sauber mercedes
Toyota- Because the cars are fast (SUPRA!!!)
Mazda- The 787B rules XD
