Your favorite drifting car

Personally I only drive premiums. Because I'm a cockpit view racer, and the fact that the modelling sucks ass on many standard cars.
Favourite drifter hands down is the TVR Tamora. Got this into the top 500 on the seasonal deep forest drift event that ended this week. And I'm by no means a great drifter.
500bhp and every single mod other than power on comfort soft tyres.
I actually drift all my cars on comfort softs.
Other favs are the all too common in real life Nissans and other asian heroes.
S15 Silvia, S13 Siliva K, RX7 Spirit R Type A, 300ZX TT 2seater, FT86, Nismo 380RS Super Leggera, S15 Silvia RM, Blitz ER34.
Other more unlikely heroes are my Z4 Cabriolet, M3 E92, GTG Mustang Trans-Cammer and the LFA.
I recommend the LFA to anyone wanting a rewarding challenge, it is arguably my favourite after the TVR Tamora.

I'm all about my v8 vantage at the moment 900+ bhp and sooo stable in the corners. I was not expecting it to be half as good as it is. I got it for racing but I can't bring myself to tune it for anything except drifting. Honestly if you give it a go you won't regret it!

Kishkuman, that is seriously the EXACT same thing that happened to me. I liked the car so much I decided to try and drift it. Low and behold, it was great (Im pretty terrible though, so its probably just me).

no matter how much i tune either the 04/07 blitz skyline it never agrees with me it just gets to twitchy. the car ive really found good is the supra rz. mine is built for 530bhp but restricted to 400bhp so it still has the boost but not to over the top :)

If you soften the spring rates to around 9 or so it will solve the twichyness. If you want more oversteer stiffen the rear arb and/or dampers and visa versa

I was the same way in Forza as I am in GT5 in that I like to have three main drift cars. One from Europe, Japan and the US. My favorite car since I got the game is my RX7 Spirit R closely followed by my Viper GTS and Aston Martin DB9. Theyre all great cars...

I only adjusted the locking of the diff on my 07. And Turned the downforce as low as possible in the rear. Completely stock on everything else. It's capable of drifting slow and twisty corners, or the long ones on HSR. I don't find it twitchy at all really.
Hmmm...

Wheel or DS3?

i love my WRX STI, it is so much fun. plus i get tons of smoke, i never see as much smoke from other people in the rooms. so i know my car kicks some. it gets more angle, more smoke, hits the apex, and it is faster

My favorite drift machine is my 2002 Fd Rx7. i can pull off real close tandems with about anyone. I also use it for doing touge on nurburgring nordschleife.

I've had a few drifts cars since I've been playing GT5, but my absolute FAVOURITE would have to be my '71 240ZG. Saw it in the UCD a few days ago and bought it (with no intention of drifting), but it just turned out to be amazing. Running 242BHP on 949kg and Comfort Softs, takes any corner at speed and holds amazing lines all the way through.

Most awd cars do that.
Now awd "drifting" is fine by me, but it takes less skill and that kinda cheapens it for me.
FR drifting is where it's at my friend.

WR Blue Mica BMW Z4 M Coupe from the BMW dealership. Completely stock except for comfort:mediums. It takes short to medium length drifts easily but long drifts are difficult because of the lowish power.

These are my primary choices for drifting:

SILVIA K's Dia Selection (S13), matte pink

Supra 3.0GT Turbo A, lime green

Fairlady Z 300ZX TwinTurbo 2seater (Z32), reflex spice

Update:

MR2 1600 G-Limited Super Charger, white

Sileighty, red

Silvia Spec-R Aero RM (S15), formula chameleon green

SKYLINE Hard Top 2000 RS-X Turbo C (R30), super black

Prowler, lapis lazuli

Not many people drift the Renault ClioRenault V6 Sport 24V '00. I have mine fully tuned, 'slammed', carbon fiber hood, and painted yellow. It rests on black 5 spoke wheels. It's amazing at drifting, with not much backlash at all. This is definitely one to try out; it destroyed my Supra in the Seasonal Madrid Drift Trial.

My common Drift car would be the Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A FD3S which is also my Touge car for the 300 class. My Competition drift car is Nomura Ken's D1GP '07 Blitz Skyline 2.5 GT-T ER34

Recently I've started to use the bmw 135i A LOT! It's a brilliant drifter. A little twitchy at times, but it kicks massive amounts of ass on the tracks.

I drift in various cars but I like the FC RX-7, MKIII Supra, X540 Chaser, S15 & S13 Silvia and S.S. AE86 most.

Hmm, I'd say my favorite would be either the RX-7 Spirit R Type A in the dealership, it makes a mean sound or the Dunlop Blitz in the dealership, seeing as I'm a fan of Nomura Ken.

Yea i also like the mazda rx 7 type a i got a spoiler for it, and its purple with green rims. Ill post a pic later.

My Favourite Drifters would definatly have to be the RX-7 or the 370GT mine are both awsome, both are under 500RWHP and break traction with ease

Little word of advice.

Drifting + Turbo = Turbo Lag
Turbo Lag + No Traction = Regain Traction.

Try not to go for anything turboed.
