Your favorite GT intro...

It's the start of the gt1 intro that fires me up, the leafs blowing across the tarmac, that slow build up leading to a frenzy of noise before that epic sound of the nsx blasting off the line! Still to this day it just makes me want fire up my ps3 and play gt5!

Both vids with the manufacture section are TOO long to be an intro of a game.


GT5 Outro is nice ending. I will never see it in the game since i dont play Endurance events.

My memories of playing the game for the first time lead me to vote for GT1.

Agreed, I don't think a game has ever grabbed my attention like gt1 did, it changed the face of driving games on any platform for ever.

Intros clearly show the main problem with GT5: it feels dull, whereas you wanted to play the prior ones just based on the intros, hud and overall feel.
Another good example is best motoring international (dull) against the japanese version (superb).

GT1 all the way, though I have to say I really loved the GT:A 2012 intro.

GT3 for me. The start of the intro with the Castrol Supra is beautiful.

I also like the intro for GT4 Prologue.

GT3 intro never gets old for me. The opening shots of the Supra still gives me goosebumps.

Also the ending video with the Lenny Kravitz song was sweet. I remember always being a little annoyed that none of the cars from the video were actually in the game, though.

I will say GT3 I've always loved that one even though GT2 comes so close, however I prefer the one with Lenny Kravits in the intro which is the one I have. NTSC FTW.

God this is a tough one. I'd say GT4, but it was a really close decision. The opening scene with the JGTC Supra in GT3 sent shivers down my spine. Spec II's opening is great after the piano concerto lol. Especially the beginning where "5oul on D!splay" comes on instrumentally.

I remember that! If I'm not mistaken it was an RM Supra.

It is a supra, if I remember correctly most of the cars in gt1 could get the rm treatment

All of the intros range from good to amazing, but the shock of almost knowing that the game "could" really look like this in real time almost made me cry for the 5 months until I could afford my first PS2.....

I guess GTPSP doesn't count? For me I would have to say GT4 being at my number 1 spot followed by GT2 and GT5 Spec II intro. Although I think GTPSP would go in somewhere between gt2 and gt5 SpecII.

Edit: Now that I think about it I might even put GTpsp's intro right up there next to gt2.
