I have one at my local commercial hub, about 3 miles away. Never had an issue with the ice cream machine, or any order for that matter. Must be a US thing. Not that I use it more than a few times per year.

I have one McDonald's in our town of Roxboro, NC. It is only 5 minutes away from our apartment. Plus it's roomy in there. They even have a play area for little kids and children.

Mine is 8 minutes (3.9 mi) away due to the current house I live in being a bit on the outskirts of town.

The funny thing is that a decade ago, I lived in a house only 1.3 miles away from a McDonald's, which made it easy for me as I worked there at the time until I had to move.

On another note, one Wendy's in both instances were closer to me. Which is good as I prefer Wendy's burgers over McDonalds.
