Homeforsummer, the toyota on the dunes. Did you tilt your camera to make it appear on a steep decline or was it really handling that 45*?

It was probably only about a 15 degree descent but I liked the way it came out tilted like that. That and the fact that some of them were coming down 45 degree descents...

sweet, not saying thats a bad thing by the way, i just thought the suspension looked a little on the flat side. It looks as if its making fun of a 45 degree descent, kind of empowering to the car methinks :)

I found it quite hard to narrow it down to five, so I'll give you some runners-up, 4 in no particular order and my overall favouritest favourite...

Runners-up

R8 - dying light, on the move, job jobbed.
MX-5s - just struck me as a nice picture.
Diablo - Late model Diablo, parked on the street outside a convenience store. Came as a bit of a surprise...

2nd-5th (no order)

The 911 was a pleasant gift - crisp February morning in a McDonald's car park. It seemed rude not to. The Mustang - as well as being an unusual car to see in the UK - was opportunism at its finest. In static traffic, I put the camera through the sunroof and shot blind - a nice result and a reminder that my car can be shiny and red sometimes. I love everything about the Diablo shot. Conversely the next shot is not great, but has an Enzo and a Veyron in it. On the road...

10 months on, and it's still my desktop wallpaper.

Was that on a Gumball or similar?

It was - the 2007 Gumball 3000, taken from a bridge over the M20, in Kent, a couple of days before it was cancelled following a fatal crash.

i like this best out of yours :) composition much better if a little grainy

The low light and the mixture of speeds saw to the quality drop (that and the fact it was taken on a free Kodak C360), but I was still massively pleased with the outcome :D Good to see I'm not alone...

Yikes! :scared: I guess it was only a matter of time. Still a pity though. I'm amazed Torquenstein didn't die in 2004. Did the fatal involve any innocents? That'd be the worst. 👎 Not so bad (but still a shame) if it was just a Gumballer by himself...

Actually, I thought they stopped Gumball after 2005? Guess not.

And wasn't the first major accident the Brits in the Cosworth Escort in 2004?

In no particular order:

All I have for now, I need to get a new camera and get some photos taken!, I might post some more GT ones up when I get back next week. :)

yes it is, well noticed, I couldnt work out where it was for a few minutes standing on the corner itself

Right I've got a fair bit of choice here, I've taken literally thousands of car photos because I go to a lot of motorsport events, but some of my favourites are static ones. I'll leave most of the motorsport ones for another time :P

The first four are from my facebook, the last is from my Deviantart. More can be found here: http://homeforsummer.deviantart.com/
Awesome.

I was just looking through all my Photobucket photos from the last six months or so and pulled out a few that caught my eye. They're nothing more than point-and-click snaps but a few of them came out quite well...
