If I have to choose a GT course then it's off to the Guranbare for all GME testing!! (Grand Valley Speedway to the uninitiated)

HOWEVER, even I felt that this wasn't giving me enough feedback when it came to adjusting spring rates on various cars due to it being flat. So I have created a new course specifically for GME testing which involves a lot of dips, crests, jumps and various cambered corners which is working wonders for me and making me adjust things that I never considered changing before. 👍

The name of this circuit is called the "Uindibare" in Japanese. ;) Quite a cool name if I do say so myself (THANKS GOOGLE TRANSLATOR!! :P).

Awesome... do you have it on your profile in GT Life? :P Might have to add you if you have space left

I've been testing at Gran Valley Speedway simply because it has almost all types of corners to test the car at low speed, mid speed, or high speed corners and a long straight away to test the cars top end power.

circuit de la sarthe(no chicanes) because its great for testing top speed, acceleration and braking power
I use trial mountain to test handling and cornering.

Pretty sure it is in my GT Life, would have to double check this after work though. Plus I've got some space for a few more buddies so just send me a request Blitz. :)

She's not a big track (the Uindibare is just over 4km long) but it's been a revelation for tuning my cars. My S14 in GT5 is almost just as quick as my S14 in GT4 (270NA) and I haven't fitted a wing, mostly thanks to being able to adjust the suspension, braking and LSD better from this track. 👍

I don't just have 1. For me it's Monza, Lauguna Seca (Spelling?) and Suzuka Full Circuit. I take my highest performing cars to Monza though.

I wouldn't go as far as to say the N'ring is poor, because after all a vast number of car manufacturers do tune their cars there. In recent years, even manufactures in America have tested their cars there. However, I criticize it for the lack of tight hair pins, and its just simply too long! Lap times vary too much, so I prefer shorter courses like tsukuba or trial mountain.

Well if BMW or Mercedes is going to test their newest model on the Nürburgring thats fine!
But I doubt a racing team would setup a car for Nürburgring to race on Suzuka or Laguna Seca!
And it`s about the same in GT5, Nürburgring Nordschleife as far too much heavy bumps, so a good setup hast to be kinda "soft". Thats the last thing you want for a flat racing circuit!
To claim a Nürburgring setup runs everywhere perfect is...

Which Nürburgring? The looooooong one? I would say Nürburgring is the worst track to test a setup, except you are talking about the flat circuit version!

Thats your opinion... My cars run fine after all being setup on the Ring... So I guess the Ring is not THAT bad afterall is it?....

Totally agree. There is nothing even remotely close to The Ring in the world. The most unique track on the planet. It does have a wide array of different stuff though. But, you're right about it requiring a soft setup.

That being said, after some more thought, I'd have to say Monza is the best for my tastes. It has a long straight, hard braking, low speed turns, medium speed turns and a high speed turn. Plus I know it so well and I love it.

I've been racing at Nurburgring for nearly 5 years on multiple games. Yet, it still don't feel quite comfortable on it and feel that I could die at any given moment. That could be part of it's charm though. Still very fun.
