I could have sworn this thread had already been done, but couldn't find it on a search. So I'll play ball:

1998 Ford Fiesta 👍
1991 Mazda MX-5 👍👍👍👍
2008 Fiat Panda 100HP 👍👍
1974 Volkswagen Beetle 👍
2001 Rover 75 Club CDT 👎

Fiesta was a great first car. Not that exciting, but that sort of thing doesn't really matter when it's your first set of wheels, really. Owned it for six years.

MX-5 was brilliant. Masses of fun. Sadly, didn't really get to drive it much in the year I owned it, and then it was stolen.

Fiat was also great fun and surprisingly quick, but had the world's hardest ride and never felt as special as the Mazda. So I bought the...

...Beetle. Which is a cool little car, but it turned into a project I don't have time for, so this one is going soon.

The Rover I bought after selling the Fiat. Was meant as a comfy cruiser for all the motorway journeys I was doing, which it was great at. And I always liked the look of it. But it also cost me loads of money in the few months I owned it, so I sold it before anything major could go wrong. Nice car, bad example of one.

2nd: '96 Ford Fiesta 1.25, in dark blue. Also bought used. At that time it had driven 128000 kilometres. I'm pretty sure it's close to 200000 today, as it's still driving.

Mom:
Austin Metro MK1 in RED, that was her very first car. Sold to a Metro enthousiast. he used it as a donor car to restore another metro. in the backseat it felt like it hate little to no suspension at all...not very good on speedbumps..

her second car was a 1993 Renault Twingo Mk1 Mint Green, painted bumpers. very practical car for its size. i still remember going on vacation with it 4 people + Luggage and a dog:) somehow we managed to fit it in there. it was Sold to my uncle (his Peugoet 205 and Citroen 2cv needed replacement) after that it was still in the family for a couple of years. it has been scrapped though i still have the old license plate of it on my bedroom door:)

Her third car was yet another Renault Twingo, i believe it was from 1998, one of those slightly facelifted models, it had the 16v engine with manual shift. Metallic black and full option! too bad it suffered from some mechanical issues, so it was sold after 2 or 3 years. they bought a ski box for it to carry even more Luggage on vacation, and we still use that today!

Her fourth car was another Renault, this time we DO needed more space, since me and my sis grown bigger aswell and we got 2 dogs instead of 1. there isnt enough space in the back of a twingo...
so this time she bought a 2002 Renault Megane 1.4 16V Break Authentique! what a huge improvement it was! much more comfy and we finally had space on the backseat while still being able to carry alot of extra goods at the same time.

when my sis got a boyfriend and went out of house my mom and dad were looking for a smaller car once again, at the same time i turned 18 and got my driving license. so i bought the Megane Break from my mom and dad, for cheap and they went on to buy yet another renault! The Megane is still used by me as a daily driver to work and has become the workhorse of the family, if someone needs to move something big the Megane break will come into action:) apart from the coilpacks it never broke down in the last 11 years!

my mom bought a 2008 Renault Twingo 1.216v Dynamique after that, wich means its pretty much got all the options avaible. im quite surprised how good this little car actually drives! got alot of space in the front seats aswell.
it is still being used by my mom and dad today.

Then it was time for me to live one of my dreams, i Always wanted to own a Skyline GT-R!
so in 2010 i bought a 1995 Nissan Skyline BCNR33 GT-R V-spec! i still enjoy this car every time i drive it! such a great car to drive! im planning to keep it as long as i can! maybe ill sell it to get a R34 GTR V-spec in the future...cause thats my all time favorite:)

My dad's vehicle history is not as easy to track (he doesn't remember much of it), but from what I remember him telling me, though the first few probably aren't in the right order:

Dad

Ford Galaxie 500 - His first car, acquired likely in 1974 or 1975.
Datsun 280Z - My mom tells me that sometimes, he would go and drive this car really fast late at night. As far as I know he never got caught.
Toyota Pickup - Owned at the same time as the Datsun.
Ford LTD? - Unsure of the specific model, looks like a Ford from an old picture he has of it. It met an untimely death when he parked it and came back to find out that a group of people used it for target practice. Yeah.
Jeep Cherokee '87 - He bought it used at a police auction some time after his first marriage and commuted across town (this was before the area had major highways) to take my older sister to and from school. Because it was quite a long drive and the Jeep was a stick shift, he traded it in for...
Toyota Camry DX '95 - Beige, four cylinder sedan with no other options other than an automatic transmission. Leased it for three years, bought it and drove it for another five. Also notable were the hideous chrome wheel covers my mom put on it and the fact that while sitting outside one day, somebody stole one of the mirrors.
Lexus GS300 '03 - Black on black with chrome wheels, no wing. It was a pretty nice car and as a six year old, it was spacious as hell. When the lease came to an end, my dad tired of a car payment and bought...
Toyota Highlander '06 - Was originally intended to be his car, but after a week my mom took it and instead my dad got...
Toyota Highlander '03 - Originally mom's car, but had racked up a good amount of mileage commuting and they figured that my mom should get the new car, seeing as my dad drove much less. I hated this car. Was sold in 2010 with 99k miles on it for $8k.
Lexus LS430 '02 - One Friday in March of 2010 I had came home from school and was looking at Corvettes on Autotrader, just because. My dad comes in and suggests that we look at some cars for him, completely on a whim. That Sunday he found a nice listing for an '02 LS430, black with a nice Ecru leather interior in California. He called the seller, a Russian jeweler named Peter and they arranged to meet on March 9th, a Tuesday I think. So my dad dropped me off at school in that wretched '03 Highlander, drove to the airport and flew to Los Angeles. Once there, the deal pretty much happened instantaneously, and he drove home for the rest of the day. That night at about 8:30, my mom and I walked out to the driveway to see a beautiful, albeit dirty from bugs and whatnot black Lexus sitting in the center of the driveway. It had about 52k miles on it at the time, now it has just over 78k, and I've had the pleasure of driving it a couple times, and it really is a great car.

Mom

Ford Maverick - Technically not her car, but shared with her twin sister in high school. Was known as the Green Machine.
Chevrolet LUV - First car my mom bought herself, was a bare-bones truck with a stick shift and no air conditioning. After an accident my mom had it repainted yellow, and kept it in remarkable condition.
Subaru XT Turbo Coupe - First new car my mom bought, after working for a few years and tiring of no air conditioning in 100 degree weather. After tiring of expensive car payments, she got...
Nissan Sentra - Don't know much about this one.
Honda Civic Coupe '93 - Another new car.
Nissan Pathfinder '98 - My mom's big reward to herself after becoming the manager of the dental office she worked for. Was a fully loaded model in beige, and probably the car I came home from the hospital in. She got rid of it after the lease ended because my dad thought it was too expensive.
Honda Accord '97 - Another more basic car, silver with grey cloth interior and air conditioning that liked to be problematic. Because that was becoming expensive to repair, my mom traded it in for (for chump change, because the previous owner had wrecked it without telling)...
Toyota Highlander '03 - Another basic silver car with a grey cloth interior, but this time with air conditioning that worked fine. It was the four cylinder model with hideous steel wheels, but it was an okay car for those first few years.
Toyota Highlander '06 - Like the '03, this was another basic one with a cloth interior and a four cylinder, this time in beige inside and out. A couple years later my mom put the factory wing on it and gave it some decent looking (albeit too small) wheels. Currently it's the extra car, and serves for transporting grandkids, furniture, bikes and luggage.
Mini Cooper S '06 - If my dad was going to get a Lexus my mom was going to get a Mini for herself, so two weeks after having a Lexus and two Highlanders, my dad flew to San Diego and drove all the way back in a little blue Mini. Had 42k miles when we got it, rolled over to 83k miles on Saturday.

Sister

Toyota Camry DX '95 - Inherited from my dad in 2003 or 2004, was my sister's poorly maintained transport to and from high school, later to and from work and met an untimely death due to a mysterious engine failure and was sold for scrap for $50 in 2008 or 2009.
Toyota Camry CE '01 - ZOMG A 2.2 CAMRY. Purchased from a couple who was moving back to Israel for about $8k, fell prey to the sludge that ruined so many 2.2s.
Toyota LE '02 - Originally owned by an 80 year old gay guy (yep) in Palm Springs, was sold to my dad by his son in law for $9k with a nice 40k miles on it. Still runs fine today, though like the other Camries it looks a bit...dirty.
Mercury Grand Marquis '84 - Sister's husband's car, purchased from his grandfather for $500, is actually in very good condition.

Me

Lexus LS430 '02 - Not official yet, but my dad's told me many times that I can have it, so we'll see. :dopey:

As for my father's car history, well, I'm not aware of half of it. He had a Golf when we were kids, then a 944 Convertible, which he's held on for the longest time, then an FD RX7, an E46 M3, a 997 GT3 and currently a CLS63.

Bleh to listing our Parents' cars... I'd be here for days if I tried to sort that out...

So mine, in order over the years...

'94 Toyota Tercel
'87 Toyota MR2 (stock, sunroof)
'87 Toyota MR2 (20V engine swap, hard top)
'99 Toyota Corolla
'77 Toyota Celica GT
'00 Toyota MR2 Spyder
'93 Honda Civic Hatch (B20Vtec swap)
'94 Acura Integra LS
'95 BMW M3 (Current and best car)

Looking at getting an E38 740iL for style and comfort later on, but pretty damn content with just the M3.
