YouTubers are being odd with the PS5 PRO vids, there is a NOTICEABLE difference !

I seen almost 10 YouTube videos from the usual content creators and smaller ones, SuperGT and Kireth both like the others struggled to say there was a noticeable difference, it's like they played it safe. They just kept repeating things like "Oh it seems smoother, but not sure, etc..."

All last week I been doing the Tokyo Expressway grind, then plugged in the PRO last night ran a race, HOLY HELL even without the patch you basically have the 120fps at what looks to be native 4k, and even if it's up scaled then it's a damn good job because I'm playing it on my LG OLED literally feet from my face, and let me tell you what I saw...

Moving through menu's is super smooth..
The Ray Tracing in race surprised me and seems more than just realistic car reflections, everything just looks better
The dreaded Texture Pop-In is much much better, the annoying disappearing spoilers, warped wheels, etc.... that happen when you're approaching a car, all that happens so far out now you don't even notice it unless you're literally looking for it..

I have yet to plug in my PSVR2 because I'm waiting for the patch to drop, I want to experience the VR difference in it's full glory.
Just want to say if this is how good this is WITHOUT the patch, I have very high hopes for 1.53...

My opinion is going to follow some common sense here, I think for couch controller gamers the PRO is not worth it, but for someone like myself with a proper OLED, a Seat/Wheel/PSVR2 setup, you're already damn near all in might as well go all the way.

You know, there are differences, and depending on the difference, some things may be fact, and others may be placebo.
You are free to believe, but without any evidence you shouldnt be presenting anything as a fact as long as it simply is another opinion.
Evidence would be the same situation on both consoles, either by video or by screenshot and then pointing out what you just right now consider to be obvious.

For example a game, that is hard coded into 30fps for fidelity mode wont be any different between PS5 and PS5Pro other than the fact that the PS5Pro should have a higher average framerate. But then again this fps limit usually is set or chosen because the developers intended the PS5 to always deliver this limit.

On the other side is the performance mode, that tries to target a set framerate and reduces quality by different means to reach this goalpost, depending on the situations here the Pro can be noticeably better, but propably also not any different depending on the games base quality and optimizations.
