Hello everybody!
This is a thread dedicated to the many racing series's that I (and probably my friends) have come up with. The whole point of this League is to get close, action-packed racing. With that being said, I'm not accepting everyone into this League, as to clean up the races. However, you also do NOT have to be the Sebastian Vettel of GT6. This whole League is dedicated to having fun while racing clean. To be included in the League, you don't have to be the best racer ever, just a clean one. By that I mean, I'd rather see a bunch of slow guys who can go 2, maybe 3, wide into a corner, and pull it off, rather than seeing a bunch of speed demons run 5 minute laps around the Nurburgring. I find that having a close race is a lot more fun than just going around a track as fast as you can, but being mostly by yourself. If you are not up to par with the other racers, but would still like to participate, that's fine too! But you have to practice, practice, practice if you'd like to be included.

"Applying" to the League
To "apply" to this League, I would like a brief description (maybe a 1-10 scale if you are feeling particularly lazy xD) of what kind of a racer you are, your desired racing number, and what series you are interested in! For example, to describe myself as a racer, I'd write:
"I believe I'm a pretty fast driver, maybe a little faster than average. As far as being a clean racer, I'd like to believe that there are a few better than me, but many who aren't."
I'm going by your word, so I'm putting a little trust into you, so do not let me down. For me, how clean you are is about 75% of what I'm looking for.

Miscellaneous information about the League (will probably be updated frequently)
In this League, you will choose a racing number that you must use throughout your participation with the League! For example, I will be number 6 for the league, thus I will use 6 for all my cars (where applicable).

The Around the World Cup!
View attachment 92880

Thanks to Zed for making the sweet logo!
To start off my League, the first race series will be my "Around the World Cup." In which, we will be racing East around the world! The first race will be held at the Nurburgring Nordschleife, and head Eastward, around the world, until we end back up at the 24 Hour layout of the Nurburgring. The tracks consist of both short and long tracks, most of which have both weather and time changes. Each race will last at least an hour, and will have tire wear, along with light damage. In addition to the tire wear and damage, there will also be a day/night cycle on the tracks that include it, and a weather change! So expect anywhere from 1-4 pitstops per race. There will be 14 tracks (so 14 races total) and separate teams according to manufacturer. There will be updates as far as individual and team points go after each race.
Now onto the part you should care about: The cars! The cars are all pretty closely matched, as I've tested them all. They each have their advantages and disadvantages. The car list is as follows:

All of these are at 515pp, on Racing hards only. (Of course, Racing Rain/Intermediate tires are accepted).

Chevrolet Camaro Touring Car (1969 Version) - Stable straightline abilities, decent cornering with some oversteer. Oversteer is more pronounced on tighter, slower corners. The exit speed is decent, depending on how you control the throttle.

View attachment 93097
Honda Civic Touring Car (RM from GT5) - Blazing fast in the straights, but has the common FWD problems - understeer.

View attachment 93100
Honda CR-Z Touring Car - Well this car was a hybrid in GT5, but I think they changed it to just a lone combustion engine for GT6 ): . Surprisingly enough, it was the fastest FWD car on the list.

View attachment 93098
Honda Integra Touring Car (RM from GT5) - One of the better handling FWD cars in the series, but still has common FWD problems, however. Is about even with the Civic as far as straightline speed goes.

View attachment 93099
Lexus IS350 GT300 Base Model - Probably the easiest car to drive included in the list. It is a GT300 race car, but has a Mid-Mounted engine, which gives it a good amount of grip. Straightline speed is to be desired however, because of the massive amount of downforce the car produces.

View attachment 93101
Lotus Elise Touring Car 1996 MODEL ONLY - The most amazing handling car so far on GT6. It is the slowest as far as straightline, but whatever time it loses on the straights, will be made up through the corners.

View attachment 93105
Mazda Miata Touring Car - A simple RWD race car. It is what I used on GT5, and what I'll be using on GT6 :D. Decent straightline speed, decent cornering (with slight under/oversteer depending on your tune), and a little under-average braking.

View attachment 93106
Mitsubishi Evolution Touring Car (RM from GT5) - Understeer is this Evo's main problem. However, it will absolutely dominate the other cars in the rain, thanks to the AWD system! It's about average as far as straightline speed goes.

View attachment 93107
Nissan Silvia S15 Touring Car (RM from GT5) - This was the fastest car in the series on GT5, and probably could be on GT6. I don't know if it was just my tune or not, but I had a lot of understeer on slow-speed corners.

View attachment 93108
Toyota 86GT Race Car Base Model - This is the most annoying car on this list. It seems like no one knows how to tune it, and without the proper tune, is very, very, slow. It does this weird understeer while oversteering deal, and I cannot figure out how to get rid of it. It will be the fastest car in the series if you can manage to get rid of that whole suspension fiasco that's going on with the car.

View attachment 93109
Volkswagen Scirocco GT24 Base Model - I love the Scirocco lol. It's slow while being fast. You don't really realize how fast the car is, until you compare it to another car. I feel like it could be the fastest car, if you put more time into a tune than I did (I spent probably 5 minutes on tuning each of these). It feels like it would be able to go a lot faster than I got it to, if it was given the correct tune. It also has the most HP and 2nd most amount of torque out of all the cars.

As you can see, the cars are scattered across a wide variety, ranging from a classic muscle car, to a modern hybrid, to a full-fledged GT300 race car. (Note that I am not accepting any requests for other cars for this series.) You have to be using one of these cars with your racing number that you provided, or you will be immediately kicked out of the lobby, and banned from the series.
Now the tracks for this course are all real world tracks (original tracks would be difficult in trying to find the location of), and all are particularly fun to drive (to me anyhow lol). The track list is as follows (and in order of which we will race them).

1. Nurburgring Nordschleife
2. Nurburgring GP/F
3. Circuit De Spa
4. Monza
5. Tsukuba
6. Motegi Road Course
7. Bathurst
8. Mazda Laguna Seca
9. Willow Springs International Streets of Willow Springs
10. Superspeedway Daytona Road Course
11. Silverstone Stowe Circuit Layout
12. Circuit de Madrid
13. Circuit de la Sarthe (Le Mans) 2013 Model
14. Nurburgring 24h

Now I know this is not perfectly East to West, but it's as close as I can get, because I do not know exactly where each track is located within their countries.

Anyways, now onto the details of the race itself. This race series was initially held on GT5, back in June of 2013, and went pretty smooth. It consisted of just my friends, and we had a great 2 races, until the whole series just flopped, because everyone was bored with GT5 at the time. Now with it "continuing" onto GT6, hopefully that won't happen.
The first race (Nordschleife) will be held on January 3rd at 9PM GMT/4PM EST (figure out what time that is for you, I'm not posting 30 different timezones).
The races after that will hopefully be every Friday or Saturday at that time, unless something occurs for me or a bunch of other racers. In the event that there are more racers than there are lobby spots (which I will be very happy about! :D), it will be a first come, first serve basis. The lobby will be open an hour prior, will be hosted by me, and will not have a qualifying session. One of my favorite qualities of this race, is that it has a random grid, therefore making the race more exciting. What fun is it if the fastest people start at the front of the grid, only to leave everyone else behind? And what fun is it if all the faster people are stuck behind the slow-pokes at the front? The beauty of the random grid, is that it combines the two, and creates a fun start.

Now, what you CANNOT do in the series. The series is based around close, clean racing (the whole premise of the League), so therefore, you cannot be a dirty driver. I do not want to see ANY divebomb overtakes, cutting of corners, or major contact in general. If you do come in contact with someone, and they go off-track, then you pull off, and give them the position back. I expect you to know your braking points in the corners, and not run wide off the track every chance you get. Keep in mind, that drafting does significantly change your braking points. Nitro will also be prohibited from the races as well. If I see you doing anything you shouldn't, or get any complaints about you, you will be immediately banned from the League. To file a complaint about a dirty racer, just message me on PSN, giving me a lap number, and specific timestamp of the event. The series will be limited to Racing Hard tires, and whatever Rain tires you want. But, that does not mean you can use Sports Soft or anything lower. Your 3 choices for tires are Racing Hards, Racing Rain, and Racing Intermediates. Anything else, and you will be banned from the series.

What you CAN do in the series: Have fun! :D Make friends, talk about whatever you want, suggest other series, etc. You can really do anything you want to, other than what I said you can't. I don't care if you are straight, gay, bi, trans, white, black, male, female, or some crazy combination of all of that, I will respect you. As long as you aren't an @sshole to anyone else or me, you won't have to deal with my bad side.

Yeah I'm pretty annoyed that Zach didn't finish this series because He didn't know how many people were joining in. I helped him make the series and he promised that he'd keep it up. Obviously that was a lie.

I even managed to get 5 other people to join the series getting ready for the day it happened to end on. He even said he didn't care that I got those people to join, and he didn't care about the series. That right there is just a selfish act that Zach made.

Well done Zach for making most of your online friends sail away from you because you supposedly "Didn't care" about them. This is what seems to happen if you help him with ALOT of things, even real life problems.

So screw this series he said. He wants to shut it down. Even though its the only thing that keeps us together right now.

And that's why I'm going to form my own racing series. Keep an eye out on this thread because I'll post a link to mine.

I hope to see you all there friends :)

I've pretty much been Zach's life coach for a whole year and a half. He's only gotten worse and isn't chill at all anymore. If he carries on like this we cannot be friends anymore. He doesn't treat me that well either as a "friend".

Well at least I care about you guys, why? Because you guys have been really cool since the first days we met, and you've stayed that way. But Zach I suppose doesn't really care about us anymore.

So I'll be making my own more fair series to keep us all together still. And to bring those good old times back :)
