Zero Cup: zero tuning (PS4) - STOPPEDPS4 

That McLaren 650 is a beast. I'm dreading when we get the Aventador as that thing understeers so badly with so much weight.

It can be good and bad. It is very very twitchy on Spa in the big dips due to the huge weight transfer. That car scared the hell out of me when I first went through Eau Rouge.

What gt3 do like to drive?

Mainly the Audi. Haven't really driven the others except the 650 and BMW. The BMW feels strange to me. Very rigid and the bonnet is quite the pain of vision in car.
Though love it when I hear others in the Mercedes. Quite the growl.
 
That was strange tonight. I've never had so many possesed moments. Brake bias popping up so many times during a turn. 1% at a time. Usually once in a loaded game session, let alone the very first time the PS menu popped up during a turn.

Funky though the track conditions versus Monday. I guess it is realism. Having bad days between each. :D

Mine had practically zero grip until that very last race which was on the greasy side. It also felt like the F2009 from FSONE for rFacter tippy toeing everywhere. Interesting conditions indeed.

I'm not sure if I'm not used to ABS. ABS make the brakes heavier? I always seemed to be trailing on them...
 
Considering the brake bias was popping up like it occasionally does to me, it might be something with your wheel and/or USB connectivity. It's just a fairly wild guess, but when I have these issues, I also have my headset losing its connection for extremely short periods of time. As a random observation, for example, it happened a bit on Monday, not tonight.
 
Hmm, the only other thing I had plugged in was the dual shock charging cable but it wasn't charging. I'll check what is going on plugged into the laptop. See if anything bizarre is lighting up.

I'll need to test this over the next few days. As for the time frame I'm easy with whatever you feel but no earlier than 7pm.
 
I understand it's been said l have left the Zero Cup community, utter rubbish, stating that a rest from IT doesn't constitute leaving, the response by stardard_control to go f##k himself unchecked is very below par, perhaps change his tag to no_control, surely there is no room for that or is there?

Are those tyre pressure readings, on the centre console?

My observation was only to highlight that this car shows the tyre pressure. not sure if others do, but have not noticed any. This is handy because you would other wise have to drive back into the pits to see whats happening to the tyre pressure!


as for default settings, i would not know as not driven the car. Obviously the zero cup is not about tuning, but for races outside of this club its nice to know that some cars have more on-board telemetry.

The next 2 events are based on the Japanese pack. You don't have to buy it if you don't want to. Feel free to skip. I could also split these events to avoid someone skipping 2 weeks in a row. Let me know if it's a problem, please.

What are they like? Haven't given them a spin yet. They look quite plush? Back road country racing. :D

default in car are 33 but yesterday were 24? thought the gears red lined early but it does have a lower top end but l will check this also. zero cup becoming zero joke.:banghead:

EDIT: All is good the difference is if the tyres are pre-heated or not and the gear box is short so all stock, zero cup is zero cup.

I know I'm a little late getting my vids together, but they're uploading as we speak. I hate tying up my network for a couple hours per video so I keep putting it off. However I just realized I can stack the uploads and set it up to do it overnight.

I had a hard time being consistent with the gt3 @ Barcelona. In the gt6 zero cup I could get away with zero practise, and zero previous experience with a car. But I know all the tracks and the physics quite well.
I don't know the Barcelona track that well so I was learning as I went. I hadn't driven any of the gt3 cars so I picked one I had driven in gt6. Turns out I was a fair bit off the pace. In the end I had a few good battles and had some fun, but it was frustrating at the same time. It seemed as soon as I had one off, I couldn't keep it in the track after that, just a cascade of failures. I ended up disqualifying myself out of frustration and consideration for the rest of you - so you wouldn't have to wait so long at the end of the race.


The tip about stopping to finish your penalty would have helped me a couple of times. I had just been waiting till a braking section and staying off the throttle till the penalty is over. On some corners this technique doesn't cost any time...

My vids all started about 3 laps into the race this week. Not sure why that happened. What's the best procedure to get sharefactory to record when you want it to?

Anyways here's the first one, in another 1.5 hours the second vid will be ready, and 2 hours after that the 3rd will be ready. I'll edit those vids into this post later.

Well lad's! I'm a bit late to the party, but better late than never. Judging by recent posts it seems like I've caused a bit of controversy. Non intentional of course!

Adjust recording time in SETTINGS-SHARING AND BROADCASTS-LENGTH OF VIDEO CLIP
30 mins should be fine but 60 mins covers you in case you fore get to save after a race,
expect your still set on 15 mins

I had an insane DSQ compared to yours? I outbraked myself and one corner later sent to the pits versus one time I still had the 10 second timer for two laps before being sent to the pits. Not intentional mind but was trying to find a zone to get rid of it. :/

Must try popping the clutch and free wheel at speed?
