If you see literally everyone lagging, it means you are the one lagging. Understandable from a tethered phone connection. Hope you get proper Internet soon. 👍

Sorry I never made it back.
Everyone did start lagging for me, which looked quite amusing for the moment just before I DC'd! Then to finish it off I was thrown off PSN. I decided on a router reboot but was then called away and never had the chance to return.

Maybe see you next time. 👍

This was at the Toronto auto show this week coincidentally, first time I've ever seen a 512BB in person. It was in a line of Ferraris including a Dino, F40, and Daytona. The show was full of cars with strong GT6 memories in general.

Cheers for that.
I did a few laps @ Rome and Ascari and, wow...these tyres are so behind the car in terms of performance.
I tend to drive with everything off as I feel that older cars shouldn't have electronic aids that are not of their era. But that's just me, and I know many people use controllers etc, so each to their own.
However, with naked settings this thing swaps ends at 100kph in moderate corners on partial throttle and is like trying to steer a wheel barrow with a piece of string.
I turned abs on to 1 and it transforms the car, and not just in braking; it feels as though abs also has an effect on lateral grip and acts as a kind of SRF when you lose grip in corners. It is dramatically different.
I know that you Tarn also drive without ABS - have you noticed the dramatic change in handling between ABS on and off?

The 512BB is a handful and requires high concentration to get into a corner with the right amount of speed -- too much and spinning out is likely. I like zero ABS as it brings out the unfiltered nature of a car and with the 512 it's a scary one. GT6 ABS is more like an advanced ESP, it seems to affect grip levels of every separate wheel and thus softens out the oversteery nature of mid engine cars, so even without having tried the car with ABS 1 i guess you are right.
In my experience you cannot gain time with ABS1 or higher. If i was faster using ABS1 it was ultimately some driving inability of mine (i.e. too much speed into a corner or wrong driving line or not braking smoothly enough) and once i found it and got the hang of it with zero ABS i always equaled or surpassed my ABS 1 time. Ultimately it's personal taste wether to use ABS, some like it, some don't, so we allow racing with or without ABS. 👍

Once I've got used to a car I also try to turn off the ABS, it does seem to unleash the physics engine somewhat and makes (most of) the cars much more exhilarating to drive. Unfortunately these days I tend to jump into races at the last moment so I tend to leave the ABS on just to be on the safe side.

And one Mito painted up and polished (and running without ABS :)). So I hope I can make it.

@tarnheld still using BST when it isn't Summertime? :P

Might be able to attend this...depends whether I get TV rights or if dinner happens at this time tomorrow.

This is just one of those days where most things are going awry.... Tsukuba is basically my fave track, so I'm more than a little annoyed to miss racing there. :irked: :grumpy: Oh well, 🤬 happens.

Eventful night of racing! Finally found my driving form in the last race. Led the first half of it and held on to a comfortable 3rd with no off track moments. The weather closed in on us, slowly, menacingly, finished with 25% wet racing line. Comfort tyres shift water well, they are road tyres but sticky.

Enjoyed the lean and mean MiTo and the battles with all of you!

Don't worry, it happens to all of us. :)

Normally nothing happens when the weather setting is below 50%, but in spring it's unpredictable... ;)
@tarnheld can u tally up the points for the races please?
Will do when i finally get around watching the reviews... :)👍
