Gamescom 2016 has gotten underway today in Cologne, Germany. Forza Horizon 3 is present, and while it appears the demo on the show floor is the same one as when the game was first unveiled at E3 in June, Playground Games’ Ralph Fulton is on-site to discuss the title.
Speaking with Polygon, Fulton details a new weekly challenge mode. Dubbed Forzathon, this new feature will offer prizes to players that are unavailable in other parts of the game. One of the earliest known prizes will be the S14 Silvia, available through an event held on October 14. The S14 has easily been one of the most-demanded cars in the community: comments bemoaning its absence can be found on every official FM6 video on Youtube.
Other prizes include a “comedy horn pack”, and a vehicle that “has never been drivable in Forza before, which you will not believe.” This mystery vehicle is scheduled to be the prize for an event that will run October 28–30. Fulton told IGN that popular prizes will have repeat showings so players will have more chances to receive them. It sounds like some players will need it too: according to Fulton, challenges will range in difficulty from easy to “really fiendish”.
Forza Horizon 3 arrives on XB1 and Windows 10 platforms September 27.

Since coming to the forza side of things and encountering their support/twitch etc.
I have been nothing but impressed. I know a lot of gt fans will be quick to pour scorn, the fact they’ve sat on the S14 so long before revealing a path is just affirmation of a higher empathy to the customer than PD ever achieved.
Plus 10/10 for not feeding trolls.
Finally the fanboys have their thirst quenched. To be fair, though, I’ll definitely do the S14 Forzathon just to see what’s all the fuss about.
I think the fact the S14 is a unicorn and isn’t in the vanilla car list will only incense them further. I still think it’s rather funny PG did this.
“A car never drivable in Forza”…
Warthog!
Was thinking the same thing haha
