A new patch for GT Sport is incoming. Polyphony Digital has confirmed that players can expect version 1.04 worldwide tomorrow.
The latest update for the game will arrive during the usual maintenance window used each week to keep tabs on the online servers. If you haven’t been keeping track on when the downtime occurs, online functionality will be down between:
- 02 November 2017: 21:00–23:00 PDT
- 03 November 2017: 04:00-06:00 GMT/UTC
Due to GT Sport’s extended online focus, the majority of functionality within the game will not be accessible. As a result of the maintenance followed by the new update, don’t forget to save your game before this time window. GT Sport can be saved manually from the main menu in-game: it is advised that all players save their progress before switching off the game. You can find this option just under the Mileage Shop on the home screen.
Polyphony hasn’t yet shared the exact contents of this update. With the pre-season tournament for the FIA Championships due to kick-off, it could simply be some last minute preparation as the first true weekend of Sport mode competition kicks off. It’s a big moment for the team and GT Sport, as the first event in the title’s organized racing calendar.
There’s also a slight chance that the recently announced Iso Rivolta Zagato Vision Gran Turismo could make its way to the game. We were told we’d just have to wait a “little longer” to drive the car in GT Sport, so this patch arrives right in that vague time frame.
Keep an eye on the GTPlanet community post-patch to see all the changes made to GT Sport.
