GT Sport players will get their first taste of the game’s FIA championships later today.
Alongside the v1.05 update, Polyphony Digital also revealed more details on the two FIA events. Both the FIA GT Nations Cup and FIA GT Manufacturer Series will run from now until next Saturday, with multiple opportunities each day to enter (except Wednesday).
The Nations Cup is straight-forward: you simply compete as a representative of your country and region. The Manufacturer Series requires players to sign for a marque of their choice in-game, which will then lend them cars to take part in the event. These contracts have been available since Sport launched last month, so you may already have a few rides in your garage.

How It Works
All players can take part in both series simultaneously. For each one, you’ll pick one time slot per day to enter, giving you a max of seven races over the course of the series. Points will be distributed to players based on their finishing orders, and each driver’s top three best finishes for the week will determine their final score.
If you have a lousy race on Monday night, you’ll have the rest of the week to better it. For a more detailed schedule, you can check out the FIA Championships in-game.
Good luck, and we’ll see you on the track!
