Last month, Slightly Mad Studios revealed the various pre-order editions of Project CARS 2. The available physical options included the Ultra, Collector’s, and Limited Editions. Starting today, the digital versions of the Standard and Deluxe Editions join the list leading to the game’s release this September.
The Standard Edition includes the Japanese Car Pack, featuring four cars from Nissan and Honda. Those cars join the roughly 180 others that make up the base Project CARS 2 experience. Meanwhile, the Deluxe Edition brings all that to the table, in addition to the game’s Season Pass and Motorsport Car Pack.
A quick refresher of the car packs reveals the following:
Japanese Cars Pack
- 1990 Nissan R32 Skyline Group A
- 1981 Nissan 280ZX IMSA GTX
- 2016 Honda Civic Type R (Euro Spec)
- 2015 Honda 2&4 Concept Car
Motorsport Pack
- 1974 Jaguar E-Type V12 Group 44
- 1998 Panoz Esperante GTR-1
- 1991 Audi V8 DTM
- 2016 Opel Astra TCR
Slightly Mad has also expanded on the contents of the PCARS2 Season Pass. Priced at $29.99, it’ll include four yet-to-be-revealed DLC car packs, each containing eight new cars, a new track, additional liveries and new career events. This represents a 25% savings over buying all four packs individually.
Additionally, the previously confirmed Motorsports Car Pack will be included as a bonus.
Project CARS 2 releases on September 22 and will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam) platforms. We got the chance to take the game for a spin at E3 2017 earlier this month: read about our experience here.
