The 6.0 Update is now available to PlayStation 4 owners and is beginning to roll out to Xbox One owners as of today.
Weighing in at 5.6GB on the PS4 and 3.5GB on the Xbox One, the latest update is primarily focused on improving the game’s multiplayer environment by introducing an all-new host kick function, which if kicked the offending player will be auto-kicked once more when attempting to join the same multiplayer session, a mandatory pit option, and an option to set race length according to time.
That’s a taste of what’s been introduced in the latest update for Project CARS. For the entire rundown of what’s new and improved, have a look at the original news posting here when the update was first made available to PC owners.

Wow.
If this was GT6 on this website the complaints would be endless.
Where’s the whinging about ‘useless VGT videos’?
Where’s the whinging about massive updates with little content?
These updates are ridiculously large.
End of story.
If all goes to plan i shall be buying a PS4 today with Project Cars. It might take me a while to update the game if we’re on 6.0 already :)
…Why is it two gigs bigger on the PS4? Did they not compress something right?
Possibly something extra they tagged onto the PS4 version perhaps some DLC.
Or possibly just bad file compression. I’ve seen bad compression before (Titanfall’s audio took up 2/3rds of its total data).
5.6GB? Oh God. My internet is the slowest thing on earth.
If it’s over 0.9 down, it won’t take more than overnight. Hopefully. Mine is 1.5 down, and I intend to start it just before bed tonight. ;)
I’ll see it tomorrow afternoon.
Mine is like 0.5mb :p
