Community Bounty Hunter is back in Forza Motorsport 7 this month, and the target is none other than series Creative Director Dan Greenawalt.
Some players may have developed a twitch trying to hunt down last month’s Bounty. Josef Newgarden proved just as fast in-game as he is on track, meaning only a few hundred players earned the rare Forza Edition Torana. Dan may not be a pro race driver, but he does have the advantage of knowing the car for this month’s event.
You’ll be driving the Shelby GT350R — the track-focused version of Greenawalt’s daily driver. The battleground is California’s infamous Corkscrew: Laguna Seca.
As of the time of writing, Dan’s time is sitting at 1:39.186. Turn 10 is guaranteeing at least one car for every player that takes part, with up to three available for those fast enough. Set a time — any time — and you’ll receive the 2010 Audi TT RS. Dip under the 100-second mark, and the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti will find its way into your garage. Beat Greenawalt, and the diamond-studded W Motors Lykan is yours.
The Bounty Hunter event closes up on Sunday, November 26. However, you’ll want to keep an eye on it throughout the week, as Dan can update his time up to the end of the Seattle work day this Friday (1700 PST). Maybe some Black Friday deals will distract him…
