One of the most dangerous motorcycle disciplines on the globe is soon going to get its own video game iteration. TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge is an upcoming motorcycle simulator that aims to let players feel all the peril and excitement of the eponymous event.
Although Kylotonn has been working on the title for over a year, there was little info on it prior to E3. However, during our time with WRC 7 last week, the French company shared some new footage and screenshots with us.
This is going to be the first video game to feature the Isle of Man track since Jester Interactive’s TT Superbike series during the PlayStation 2 era. In order to make the game as authentic as possible, professional Isle of Man TT drivers offered their own advice and feedback. From what we’ve seen, Ride on the Edge seems like a fitting subtitle.

For those uninformed of the event the game will simulate, the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy is a motorcycle event taking place on the Isle of Man each year. The event is notorious for its high-paced driving, narrow track, and accidents that happen on almost regular basis.
Gamers have wanted the track in racing titles for many years. Due to its large size (thrice the size of Nürburgring Nordschleife) and the fact cars are rarely allowed to race there, it’s been a rarity in the video game realm.
Kylotonn accepted the massive undertaking, and it may not be alone. Three years ago, rumors circulated that Gran Turismo creator Polyphony Digital was on-site, scanning the circuit.
Fancy a ride? Then you’ll be happy to hear Kylotonn plans to release the game at some point in 2017. A rumour suggests that could happen this October, but nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
When it arrives, TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
