We’re less than 24 hours away from the release of Blizzard Mountain for Forza Horizon 3 for Xbox One and Windows 10 players. Both Turn 10 and Playground Games appear to be just as anxious, releasing a 26-second teaser trailer for tomorrow’s expansion giving players of glimpse of what to expect.
The first full-featured expansion for the award-winning racer, Blizzard Mountain will drop players onto an all-new wintry alpine setting. With new events and challenges, game types, Bucket List Blueprint and Rivals Events, new bonus boards to smash, and beauty spots waiting to be discovered, there’s going to plenty to keep players occupied.
Perhaps the most gripping things (no pun intended) about the expansion are the grueling weather conditions: snow, ice, extreme elevations, blizzards, an extreme sports snow park and even a frozen lake — a number of firsts for the franchise.
Let’s not forget the cornerstone of tomorrow’s expansion: the cars. Seven new rides are yours for the taking for the journey ahead. Leading the charge will be Ken Block’s Gymkhana Focus, no doubt a familiar face to many and was confirmed for the game earlier in the year. Additionally, there will be a hidden barn find to discover and it too is suited for the task (you can check it out in the gallery of this post if you just need to know now).
If you’re looking forward to tomorrow’s content, the staff will be taking part in a live stream tomorrow afternoon at 21:00 GMT, and you’ll be able to tag along for some wintry shenanigans. We’ll also be announcing the winners of our Forza Motorsport 6 DLC giveaway.
