Our Double-Double-Header Online Special Event and Time Trials over the past 2 weeks have been such a hit, we’ve decided to go back for more! As self-isolation continues, it’s more important than ever to find fun things to do and different ways of having social interaction.
We think we’ve found the cure, with these LAN style Online Events and Time Trials to match up. All the details are below.
WRS Online Events
The Gr.4 LAN-Style Pick and Mix has been a lot of fun, as the initial round of events wraps up on Sunday, April 5th.
Check out this live stream YouTube video from Sunday, March 29th, courtesy of GTPlanet OLR Admin and Division 1 Gold Registry Member GTP_PASM. He took first place in 3 of the 6 races last Sunday, and came out first overall in our scoring for fun.
So, following that two-week event, the WRS is running our 5th Online Special Event on the GT Sport platform.
This event will be another LAN-style Pick and Mix, this time featuring N200 cars on six tracks, selected at random from a group of seven published tracks. Each driver will use each car one time, and the track order will be revealed in real time.

WRS Time Trials
GTPlanet’s Weekly Race Series (WRS) is headed to a couple of short tracks to tie into the N200 race event. One TT is on a track we’ve never run, BB (Broad Bean) raceway. The other will be back on a familiar short track, Suzuka East.
You can run one event or both, as you practice and prepare for the upcoming Pick and Mix. We did a lot of testing for this event, and these cars have not been used in past TTs. They are a lot of fun on these tracks.
There’s plenty of time to get some laps in, as the deadline for the both events is Monday, April, 20 at 2359 GMT.
