Recently published news on the official website could really turn the heat up among photo enthusiasts of the popular driving simulator Project CARS. In order to celebrate the launch of the new Playseat Project CARS gaming seat Slightly Mad Studios decided to collaborate with Playseat once more and host a photo competition for all Project CARS game owners willing to test their snap-shooting skills. More importantly, the contest will involve none other than the American machines recently released as a part of the US Car Race Pack.
The rules are simple: submit your favourite screenshot of any US Race Car Pack vehicle on Twitter or Facebook using the hashtag #PlayseatProjectCARS. With a bit of luck, Slightly Mad Studios will pick your photo and award you with a brand new Project CARS Playseat.
Remember, the eligible for the contest cars are those found within the US Race Car Pack:
- 2015 Chevrolet Corvette C7.R
- 2015 Cadillac ATS-V.R GT3
- 2014 Dallara DW12 Indycar
- 2016 Ford Fusion Stockcar
Entries will be accepted until midnight UK time on Tuesday March 8. Detailed terms and conditions are listed below:
- Entry is open to anyone except for employees (and their families) of Slightly Mad Studios, Playseat and any other companies associated with the competition.
- The entrants must be aged 18 or over.
- Proof of identity and age may be required.

- The winner agree to the use of their name, photograph and disclosure of county of residence and will co-operate with any other reasonable requests by Slightly Mad Studios and Playseat relating to any post-winning publicity.
- Unless stated otherwise the winner will be selected by judges by the closing date stated.
- Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, or is unable to comply with these terms and conditions, the promoters reserve the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant.

I’m actually tempted. Doesn’t seem like this is drawing in much interest so let’s get going
Yeap.
Let me get this straight. You have to buy the US Car Pack in order to enter. It looks like a scam to me.
Or you could do it another way: get in an online race with the room owner who owns the pack. Problem solved and no money needed to be exchanged ;)
Racecar said it, just join GT3 rooms with those cars on the grid, save replay and pause and take photos to your hearts delight. Nothing beyond having an online connection and the base game are necessary on your part.
