Definitely interested and I have ps5 now,
Will be back home couple days and I’ll learn how to copy and paste,
Been watching lots of online racing streams while over seas, definitely missing racing and my mountain bike lol.

Car looks great. If possible, try to source the digital positional number board, and there are a few contigency stickers missing from front lower corners. Lastly is the Snail decal in front of the rear wheel arch on the lower rocker area. Other than those details, the car is spot on. Make the necessary edits, and when complete, take a side profile shot of the front looking left over the white blank background and post. That will be used for our spotters guide as the series opener approaches. Great work.

Thanks...I will get on that. I will look again, but I didn't see the "Snail" decal. I will get better pics with white background also.

Alright fellas,
So far, I have had time to test 4 cars. I used Road Atlanta as it tests each car in a multitude of strengths and weaknesses. Long straights for the power cars, and S's and technical corners for the lighter and nimble cars. Each car was run with the base tune, and then tuned using Priano tunes with subtle tweaks to my liking. Of the 4 cars tested so far, I was under 4 tenths faster in the Camaro, but also have alot of laps in that car compared to the others. Anyway, the rest that I tested at Road Atlanta fell within a tenth of one another, but interestingly felt as you would expect of each of those car's personalities. All laps were run in tine trial mode at 16:00 default time and weather. Here are the results so far:

And I included a small photo shoot of some popular liveries for these cars:

More testing to come as we wait for the roster to build.

Painful as it was, no wide body kit and no lower rear spoiler/diffuser.

I had to install a computer to dial down the power so it would get to 650 pp.

Did you set the mandatory spec'd weight for the car, and does it have the widebody kit? No widebody kits, and no rear lower diffuser/rear spoiler.
I'm at 140/240-3150 no rear diffuser. Adding the rear part bumps it to 340 and somehow lowered the PP to 643.28 140/340.

That is odd. I changed it to standard which drops it 240 max. It did bump.me from 650 to 653. After dropping hp, i landed at 468hp/3150lbs. Ill amend the aero spec for that car.

Went a little further today on testing at Road Atlanta. Each of the cars have been base tuned using Priano tunes, then gently tweaked to my liking. Also, stayed with stock gear ratios as they sit with the applied racing transmissions. Have a look thru. The times have gotten closer, and the cars feel awesome across the board. All laps were in Time Trial mode at Road Atlanta on default tine and weather. More to come.

For anyone interested in testing the cars as I had them set up for their parity, here are the exact tunes I used for the results noted above. Remember, no widebody upgrades permitted. Feel free to share your testing results and where you tested. Try to test on tracks scheduled for the series.

I was running 1:24.3 within 3 laps at Road Atlanta for the Cayman tune. I'm confident I can get that time down to 1:23's. Of the cars I've tested, I'm liking the feel for Porsche

If anyone is in need of a livery, here are a few I have rendered that are ready and to the series requirements. Hit me up and I'll provide the link.

Low 1:24's down to hi 1:23's were very consistent. See tune in next tab. This was exactly how the car was tuned during session

Lastly, this Aston livery is available if anyone is interested.

Lobby will be open at 4pm est for about an hour for anyone around for some testing/lapping.
Great test session yesterday. We had myself, @Bologna_Duc , and @Harry Rowley in th elobby on PS5's, and @fruitloop31 on a PS4. Overall, the room was solid, but the difference in communication between ps5-ps5 vs ps5-ps4 was very obvious. All of us on PS5's were very stable and life-like.....felt and looked very good. However, when I approached fruitloop on the ps4, very little lag was present, but the annoying side to side jitters was apparent. As suspected, ps5 and ps4 just do not like talking to each other. I hate excluding our friends with the PS4's, but for the sake of good network quality and better quality door to door racing I'm content on the decision to make this a PS5 entry only series. Here was a replay of our 5 lap session.

Hi fellas,
Some of you I know and have raced with before on Sunday nights, others I have yet to have any track time with. Anyway, I posted this SNAIL Friday Night Racing Series link in the main SNAIL thread, but that tends to get buried quickly by other posts. So, I figured I'd tag those noted below to see if this Michelin Pilot Challenge series might fit your schedule and be of interest to any of you with a PS5.

THIS WILL BE A PS5 ONLY series on Friday nights, once per month.

This series is a Road Car to Race Car GT4/GS series based closely to the real world IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge. Basically, each driver picks from the 9 available road cars, then builds the car as the requirements and series regulations state. From there, you can tune, not tune.. whatever, so long as you keep the car under the starting 650pp cap. All tuning requirements and regulations are noted in the 1st post to build your car, along with livery requirements. I also have provided base tunes for each car that are displayed exactly how the cars were tested for parity. Feel free use any of the provided info as needed. Once the season is started with everyone at a 650pp cap, there will be Success Penalties assessed against podium finishers by use of a pp handicap to slow them down after each event, and concession bonus pp adjustments for those finishing outside the top 10 to help bring slower driver up to the pace of the field will be used as well to narrow the pace gaps between drivers.
The schedule will be all North American tracks: Watkins Glen, Road Atlanta, Daytona Road Course, Laguna Seca, Trail Mountain, and Grand Valley. (We will run 6 events for this season initially. If event attendance is strong toward the end of the season and new tracks are offered, the season could be extended with participant approval).
See the 1st post of this thread for more series details, and feel free to inquire with any questions at all. (There is no cap on the roster, and race event grid priority will simply be based off a first to confirm attending basis) Hope to see some of you join us for some additional competitive SNAIL racing.

That's what I meant
See the top of the first post and copy/paste your info to sign up. Feel free to select your car, or announce that later by noting "TBD". Car choice can be changed up to the week prior to the first event.. whenever that ends up being.
